The point, drlong, is that even with a fully vaccinated population (and the USA is not near that yet), clinical diagnosis is a long term market. I.e. PCR. I.e. BC selling our tests (yes, again, I know we don't know yet). Variants escape, vaccinations are not 100% effective. All reports suggest Covid will be with us forever. That's the sad situation, but good for diagnostics companies like GDR, especially in the PCR and PoC space. Watch this space

It is nonetheless a revealing report for investors in all Covid diagnostics. I take a different view on the longevity and timescales here Dave, that is all, and with respect to BC I think we're good going forward but that's just my view. I do personally expect a re-rate in near future if any good news comes through, but I certainly cannot predict when. We know we have no news yet

Confirms for ME my opinion on why GDR is so well placed, why the PoC is exciting (let's hope to see it soon then), and (as if it needed saying) that PCR in one form or another is the go to (and therefore strong place in market for the 96 kit) for clinical Covid diagnostics going forward (long term market imo)

Those familiar with the medical market rather than just looking at the current sp, however, will know about delays, timescales, but also about what is coming here and just how forward looking this company's position is. Can't help those who believe the fud that is posted here daily, but it's frenzied now. Happy days

'Investigated' for dangling carrots Dave? Come on. They update on projects when they need to but otherwise don't communicate much. There are some companies out there who could be seen as dangling carrots, but this is not one of them.

Hopefully we will hear soon about other projects, but accurate tests for Covid have a much longer future than you are intimating, both the 96 and PoC versions GDR is/will offer.

PoC is of particular interest for clinical use in developing nations, where there is currently a large focus for NGOs and other bodies to address Covid over the next year onwards.

And if they haven't yet, it'll be because of sales cycles, lead in time. This is all covered in the last presentation. EUA will unshackle them. PCR will be in use for clinical and confirmatory testing for years, and BC will sell them. Think it's not coming? The test is proven outstandingly in other approvals and trials. It will. Certainly wouldn't have a short open against it (not suggesting anyone here has).

Looks increasingly like lockdown lift is gonna be delayed, spike in Delta/India variant.

Whose kit is successfully tendered in the PHE framework and proven against these variants? Let's hope for a win on this
