The PoC for example is likely to find use in care homes, protecting expensive operations such as shipping, sports etc. I doubt those aspects will be over. Clinical use will remain very long term (see flu).

Yeah, if you look on the comparison sheet GDR did the abbot's on there. I think it's only looking at one viral gene rather than the two gdr's tests for, but I'd have to look back. Its an older bit of kit. Anyhow, sounds like they've done well over there (!), and afaict the FDA have not cleared THEIR EUA (so sold under professional use I think) , wtf. Plenty of room here in EU/UK and on for the new kit from GDR, beats out the abbot afaict.

Honestly Insider, the activity on this forum (and I dare say advfn, twitter, etc) on this share (and many others) is deserving of a PhD thesis.
