Here come the predicters of predictions and the knowers of things they can't possibly know i.e. "Looks like the interested ones weren't interested after all" two and a bit business days into new year. Really?

My expectation (and purely that) is that we will see 1 to 3 rns's this month. UK CTDA news, EU (& UK?) partner(s?) news, AIHL news. In what order and when I certainly don't know. Can't guarantee timings, none of us can, but I think extremely likely AT LEAST one, with high probably more imo.

We're three business days into the new year. Three. Were you expecting something over the holidays? Know I wasn't.

All this talk of lft and PCR and current UK gov stance. Whilst we are currently first targeting EU. And the industry interest in PoC lamp will imo expand over the next year and on as industries such as care and maritime move to a more viable method of protecting themselves, their business, and their operations than inaccurate lft and slow PCR. Jmo

Hi Blades, seems to be a research study into LAMP by Ulster and as such could be initiated by Ulster rather than GDR? And if so GDR are probably delighted that Ulster is using their kit as that'll be free PR? Just my guess at a glance, could be wrong, be worth another look.

In addition, would hope others report the unbelievable amount of libellous/defamatory posts today.

Last 3 rns's in Dec should lead to further this month. I'm really just posting this as today has been a frenzy from the group of negative posters, and I think it's worth remembering that we have exciting products coming on line in AIHL and Covid PoC, and HAVE had good news from end of Nov and through Dec. So this is not at all the doom and gloom that they would like to spread, quite the reverse. I think we're off, despite the clear volatility, to a good 2022. Of course I realise this sentiment will be attacked, but I also think it reflects the majority despite these posters. Ymmv

Agree Pretty, and it's quite distasteful considering many have family/friends who have died or been otherwise affected. Not a cold.

That aside, the point here is that certain operations will be protected by testing long term, because they either a) have to be, or b) it will save the industries in question many dollars and much potential disruption to continue vigilant testing. Cases in point include care homes, offshore, etc. Not to mention of course clinical use.

Joking aside, the targets for the LAMP PoC imo are industry such as care, cruise, sport, offshore etc. (and country entry reqs where PcR or LAMP specified) where lft accuracy will not do.

Best answer I can give chique is you'd have to do research on that product first, see whether it's actually a viable competitor, whether it meets regulatory and non-regulatory standards (it's not LAMP afaict), AND research the company (seems to be a small Israeli outfit with a VERY basic website purely afaict), note it's lower sensitivity/specificity compared to the GDR poc (so it actually may be competition for lft rather than quite PCR or LAMP, at least where exceptional accuracy is required) see if it's been through or meets required hurdles. Etc Etc. (But don't worry, you'll get some pat answers here from those professing to know because it meets their agenda)

Industry such as care homes, maritime, anywhere you need accuracy quicker than and/or cannot access a pcr test. Someone here posted a very good list of potential industry targets over christmas.

Eh? Looks like a tiny Israeli company. Don't know about the product except that their claims of sensitivity & specificity are lower than genedrive's. Afaict it's not LAMP, meaning it's not meeting the criteria for a lot of national specs showing PCR or LAMP as requirements etc. Dubious unless shown otherwise.

We had our last rns' 3 days before Christmas? It is now the 1st day of market open after new year. There have been what, about 3 full and 2 half days of trading since the last rns?

Nonetheless someone on here is RANTING that it's been 'silence' and gone 'very quiet'. You know who.

Meanwhile in the real world we've just touched Jan and can expect (at least I do) further rns's on AIHL, Covid PoC UK CTDA, Covid PoC EU partners. Looking good imo

Hi lunar, yes I agree on the price predictions either way. Hate them myself as they tend to be agenda driven and pretty pointless. I sometimes wonder whether it's worth posting here as I'm holding longish term (though think there's now excellent scope to reach my first target fairly shortly), and so much of the posting seems aimed at trading and influencing daily movement. However I do (as I'm sure others do), because those of us invested for the longer term have also seen a sustained attempt to suppress sentiment here on more than just a short term basis. Best

@lunar, don't think anyone is saying it'll do that without news? Fortunately we (or at least I, speaking for myself) are/am quite clear on expected rns' (AIHL, UK CTDA, EU and UK commercial partner news, then we hope sales) that should be in the pipe for Jan on. (I'm also tentatively expecting US military news at some unspecified time)

As the rest of us know from tiresome experience the only people who don't take days of are these jokers.
