Another is NICE guidance for the test for AIHL, which if it is what is listed on their site for March (someone had link?) should be profound for that product in UK. To note that afaict the test is in use in a private Greek hospital and I think Inspiration Healthcare were mentioned as distributor (ref last presentation & relevant rns's), so eyes on EU too for that.

To clarify zapsnap, no, no lab needed. Which is key. Hence all sorts of applications for PCR level accuracy on the spot (care, clinical, offshore/cruise/marine, remote, sports, travel etc.) It's RT-LAMP which you'll find specified in guidance alongside PCR in a number of national travel regs etc. And fast of course.

If you have read any of my posts sledgey, you'll know I never say exactly when (because neither I nor you now), just my anticipation. The first (CTDA application) dropped in Dec despite Jaceorge saying it'd never happen. I've laid out my personal expectation of what the next are below, but not when, though my expectation is we may see at least one shortly.

I read the drop after Dec's rise as largely holders and traders cashing in after the low of last year. My thought yesterday was that the drop was on fumes and a new base being established, from which the news I personally anticipate (all of aihl, cov poc partners and UK CTDA approval) will take it. Watched this flutter yesterday. Took a bit more at 27.3 yesterday (my first 'top up' since Nov, yeah, I know no one believes top ups lol). Think that'll prove wise, but we'll see, just my call

I'd question whether the Ulster trial is connected to the CTDA application. I would have thought if it was that might've been included in RNS. I'm not saying it is or isn't, so if you know more say, but my first impression was that it was an academic study.

As for the CTDA, if it really does take just 20 working days then we're looking at what, week after next maybe? Maybe, unless expedited, could be later, it's clear the DHSC aren't giving guaranteed review times.

I agree risk, hence pleased they decided to get an in house team.

For what it's worth, some of the recent moves are what I would suggest should have been done before. Namely employing in house sales (tick), and concentrating on EU/UK rather than the fabled land of the USA (tick).

Glad to see those two moves. Additionally I'd like to see European/UK based distributor(s), I'm sure BC are a great company but (and no offence) I think they're a US company at heart.

(On the subject of the US, frankly I'd be loath to invest in anyone who's relying on FDA movement in this field now, seen on another companies boards recently people saying 'FDA approval soon'. Yeah, we know about that)

I agree on PCR penny, but I think you mean LAMP/PoC (On which as you know I don't agree, but that's by the by, just correcting the technicality ;)

Seem to remember my prediction of the CTDA application (which you poopooed ;) was right. As I expect will be my expectations of CTDA approval, Covid PoC partners, and AIHL full launch. Have fun in the meantime

Apologies for this, but I've rarely seen such a disgraceful post as that last by hashtagshares. And nothing to do with gdr. Staggering amounts of healthcare workers have died worldwide dealing with this pandemic. He posts 'maybe it was overegged' and 'dare I say quite exciting staying at home waiting for the daily death count'. It's one thing to ramp or deramp here, quite another to post so shamefully. Show them some respect.

Gdr aside, get a grip. I personally know people who have died.

For the sake of variety, articles today on the current state of Covid from rags on both sides of the political spectrum. We're going to need testing for a very long time (clinically, indefinitely). Take your own views on GDR, but do get boosted imo.
