I can think of many more risky shares right now. Most small cap miners for example and anything which might need funding shortly. Gdr is not in those categories. We'll see how the year goes but right now at this particular point in time at this price this just isn't 'one of the most risky shares'. JMO
Many companies are a risk boot. This one just happens to be funded, at a low, and with two great products coming out. One of which, AIHL, I personally have 100% (IMO of course, but I wouldn't say that if I didn't mean it) certainty will be adopted into NHS.
Exactly xel123. Reposting this for the 'over' brigade (who will no doubt not read or understand but w/e)

ref the 20 working days, it came up by my calculation around yesterday given the bank hols over christmas (there is probably an extra civil service holiday day in there too if being pedantic, so around today). I'm not holding much by the 20day timeframe, but if they were meeting it it'd actually be around right now unless my calc is way out. Guess we'll see
Don't know about government maplinman, but (and this has always been my thesis wrt PoC testing), that whatever stance an individual government takes to covid, the virus itself (in one mutation or other) is going to threaten certain industries for years. My obvious thoughts are diagnosis will remain, and in terms of screening care homes for example are heavily at risk from even the mildest variant (and apparently Omicron, and we'll see about B2 variant, is actually less mild than Alpha). As stated before, I also remain interested in marine, sports, remote, clinical and other markets as long term opportunities. At the end of the day, gdr is a point of care specialist (the PCR last year was a divergence from that). For me this is and will be a key growth area in diagnostics (as I think AIHL will demonstrate) - which is why I'm invested in gdr rather than one of the other UK co's. JMO
Hi Maplinman, I posted at more length on thoughts on evening of 13 Jan, going to be polite and not bore others by reposting, but it's there if you want the view of one holder. I remain of the view that both AIHL and Covid PoC will show that persistence pays off. I also half expect to hear something about military.
