1pm, July 22nd becoming a congested diary event in the European lithium mining world.

Timing seems a bit odd to me.

When (if ever) was the last time that shareholders were notified of a Jackanory run through of a recently released company presentation during the working day (Covid AGM excluded). Yes after hours, 5.30-6.30 pm but not at 1 pm.

I noticed that questions were requested by 9am the day before and then it adds that they can be asked during the presentation. Gives the opportunity for anyone interested to log in to a pre arranged event and the hear and question whatever might be current at the time, which might not be what is before us now.

The chat might be the same, but I’d rather join 10 mins before the start than 10 days - no advantage in being told that you ‘Number one in the queue’.

Well it was about 2.3p at the end of October v 3.83 now and was over 5 prior placing,so yes hadn’t doubled exactly since Nov,but hadn’t gone down.

Phew. Just as well SAV is not looking at mining underground then and the sp has also almost doubled since Nov 20, placing notwithstanding. Does that mean that a lot of people are wrong to share that definition of a mine, or that SAV is not a miner as yet (true on both counts).

The PC closes 16th July. So, close. That said, they then have to review and assimilate the other strands that have been going on alongside before giving their decision. I understood that this whole process had to complete within 100 working days from start, otherwise it would effectively be ‘deemed’ granted, and under the circumstances, that would not really be right or likely

You may like to check out which party let the Galp / SAV talks lapse. In your commentary you say Galp. In SAVs commentary, they say SAV. Both sides still say they are still talking to each other.

Let’s look back with hindsight in a few months time, post EIA and as the market tightens.

Would it not all be relative? If not from SAV, then where from - Aus via China.? Also Hence the drive reduce the carbon use to as low as possible - power sourcing / trucks / diggers etc.

This announcement might have been slated in and timetabled before the Public Consultation was given its extension, hence it may seem out of sequence or previous.

Must be a somewhat deflationary announcement for some who were hoping that APA and the EIA might ride to the rescue. Still might of course, but it would be a bizarre situation for a founding board member and the supporting foundation of the whole industry should find itself not able to deliver.

OTH, the RRP might not be needed but it should and no doubt will be assessed against the other options available, the rates, the T&C etc. If it helps reduce further dilution …..

Quite aside from Portugal, APA, lithium or Savannah, your last post says quite a lot and although you leave it up to the reader to decide whether you personally fall outside of the mould, your analysis might imply that that is where you feel you should fit.

In general, I just find it quite arrogant position to assume that just because some other people arrive at a different conclusion that they have not heard all that is said, question the value and motivation of it and also wonder about what is left unsaid and undone. Of course being judge and jury of your own thoughts is a right that I agree with, my wife’s face was a picture when I once said that she may have the last word, but I always have the last thought.

Ultimately, in reaching your own personal conclusions, whatever they may be, have you not effectively heard what you want to hear and are therefore disregarding the rest, whatever that might be.

As the man in the dock once said ‘as God is my judge, I am not guilty’ and the man in the longest wig replied ‘He isn’t, I am, you are’. Being judge of your own conclusions doesn’t necessarily make you right or in a majority if it is a collective decision.
