You might have thought that Tesla, Ford, GM, Stellantis, Merc etc etc might have been able to track down suitable contact numbers and speak directly with potential companies rather than even hint at any contact in an open booth in public. No doubt a couple of days of networking might be useful

Should Portugal / Europe be looking at similar jurisdictions regards permitting as the US starts to develop its own battery metals supply chain? News broke tonight that the judge looking at the LAC permitting has refused appeals following the recent qualified decision. I have little doubt that the outstanding items will be sorted and things will be able to progress rapidly, here on in.

Europe response to the US IRA is set to be outlined a week on Wednesday (I think) and that will be crucial, not specifically for SAV but the wider aspirations of the whole of Europe. I noted that Germany slipped backwards in growth again for December. Hopefully they will look to boost potential rather than try to put a positive spin or outlook with a can kick into the future.

Need to see troops on the ground not promises of reinforcements.

Good update as we move towards resubmission. Useful outline of the timelines and concurrent processes post March 17.

Will be interesting to see if there is any feedback from the current local consultations that they are/have arranged.

Just seen this. India looking to set up an auction for newly discovered assets. Portugal have been looking to organise an auction since I was in nappies ( and that was before pull ups were invented).

Well spotted CM though as they seemed to be looking to deliver it ahead, I thought they must be looking to enjoy the evening and celebrate that they have done all possible and can only wait for the puffs of smoke along with rest of us.

Not sure that cracking a can in a virtual world through screens thousands of miles away is all it’s hyped up to be but it might be a bit of light relief after years of frustration.

4 weeks to go before resubmission.

In between, Six Nations, Curry Night, wedding, CRMA roll out, weekend away, Peter Kay, wine tasting, oh and the Day Job. Plus no doubt a couple of RNS from SAV. Suspect the next month will go quite quickly.

CRMA is due to be laid before the powers that be in Brussels on March 8th, a week before our Resubmission deadline though CEO Dale seemed to hint in the ProActive interview that they may be ready to resubmit before then.

We shall see whether they really get the urgency of this

As for France24 article, thought it was set to be a re-hash of some of their previous output, which to some extent it was. However the last couple of sentences showed it was bang up to date and if correct, should give a sense of optimism for those that are hoping things progress.

So Lusorecursos is on the same pathway as ourselves in Article 16. APA issued the note which I found interesting esp 7 and 8.

Do I read from this that in the event of APA finding against, it has to be referred to the Government 10 days before the 50 working day deadline so that the Government can make a political decision on any go ahead, effectively by-passing APAs likely decision, albeit on the Government’s head.

Can just see the EC being happy with a no to SAV at this time, following the recent endorsement from a smiling Sefcovic who was gushing in approval of Portuguese Gov general support. With the CRMA due to be revealed March 8 and the revised submission a week later, mid May will be an interesting period.

See that Sprott has launched a Li ETF. interesting to see the list of those included in their index and those excluded. Vulcan, EUR and Infinty are In. SAV and EMH are out.
