GarryGraham - I’m sorry that you, as a claimed shareholder, appear uncomfortable I offer up facts to those that post tosh about this company.

I’m still pretty amazed you, in particular, are critical of Eytan promoting the idea of the Conjugate Orange basin bearing in mind he is CEO of a company with OFF- 3 to farm out, having recently completed a magnificent deal with Chevron to farm out OFF- 1!

Regarding the latter CEG have just banked $12.5 million from Chevron so whilst I’m hoping that the company have an eye on the taxman with regard to accounting for the Chevron payment I doubt thinking shareholders really perceive the company to be loss making! Perhaps you can get back to me on your stance here - always find your views interesting !

Briggsy I’m pleased you’ve drawn attention to the share options, detailed in the recent RNS, as being concerned about them suggests you believe the SP will power ahead as most are at prices way over the current SP!

Briggsy - Eytan’s only just banked the $12.5 million so keep an eye on RNS for developmental news.

Regarding SP just think where it would be without the Chevron deal you told everyone wouldn’t happen! Now the SP is backed with massive cash so the proposition is much more attractive than when you baled and took your loss.

Shareholders are backing Eytan and the BOD and they’re doing a good job of following through on the declared plan. You can huff and puff all you like it’s not going to affect them, they’ve got credibility now, unlike trolls who wanted shareholders to join them in selling out before this transformational Chevron deal.

Brex - of course it’s not just Chevron, other majors involved in offshore Uruguay, including Shell and Apache. If you can guarantee they’re all wasting their time and money I’m sure they’ll pay a good consulting fee to you. They might want a bit of technical data and a dose of professionalism - you’re obviously holding back on that, for commercial reasons, with your posting here LOL!

Fresian - Charlestown converted debt to equity at 7.5p - no thinking shareholder would see that as a problem!

Briggsy - I can’t give you any guarantees the SP won’t fall further as I don’t control SP but I do believe that shareholders are much more comfortable now, with $12.5 million cash in the bank than when you had your dalliance with the share.

On a personal note I don’t think you need to worry about your personal stock falling too much more since Chevron have completed the deal despite your much repeated quote :-

No chance of a farm in for this bunch of part timers. 

I would rather spend it all in the Grenadier, then a slap up meal in Green Park rather than buy CEG shares.

Bilbo I’m expecting a TVR RNS shortly confirming the conversion of the Charlestown loan to shares as detailed in original RNS. This won’t increase cash holdings of CEG although Charlestown have warrants for a 24 month period exercisable @ 10p which would require a cash transfer of £215,000 , if fully utilised.

John Briggs # no credibility may not see value in the warrants but much can happen over the 24 months, he has, of course, been catastrophically wrong historically about CEG. I’m surprised he hasn’t come to terms with his loss by now, even 12bn on the other channel, who’s been trolling for more than a decade with over 40,000 contributions managed a congratulatory post today!

It occurs to me that the transformational news of farm out completion has brought new traffic to this site. I welcome that and I’m sure newbs can make their own minds up about the potential of this share, however, I think it’s worth mentioning that some previous ventures have not gone well for CEG and there are many bitter and twisted losers out there who can’t put their experiences behind them and move on.

One such poster is John Briggs who is almost fanatical with his zeal. Unfortunately he’s often wrong - here’s the example relating to his take on the chances of CEG getting a farm out for OFF -1 , confirmed by Chevron today :-

GarryGraham - here’s my response - I don’t expect it to change anything but I enjoyed creating it !

“As I have stated previously I am heavily invested here and I am fully aware it is a HUGE GAMBLE with the odds against us but if all the stars do "align " there could be a massive return. Nothing more to say I am totally bored of this share and the merry go round of viewpoints. I respect the fact we disagree. “ - not much there for me to disagree but I’m surprised you’re “ totally bored of this share ” as it’s journey has been nothing short of eventful culminating with Eytan pulling the proverbial rabbit out of the hat with the announcement of Chevron deal !

It’s possible that if I had a long conversation with you I might be persuaded that you aren’t “ plain odd “ but much as I’d enjoy a deep and philosophical that’s unlikely to happen so I’m stuck with judging you on what you post! You expect me to believe you bought shares here earlier in the year and again later on and you have a circle of associates that have also invested.

I invite you to consider the posts of others here who claim to be invested - I can’t recall any of them being super critical of Eytan promoting the idea, where possible, that there’s a technical argument for suggesting there could be shed loads of oil under the seas off Uruguay. Even if they secretly agreed with you why would they want to share such thoughts in a public post - how would that benefit the SP?

Similarly what would a shareholder have to gain from publicly posting that there may be small print that wasn’t publicly available that allowed Chevron to unilaterally withdraw from the deal ?

I could go on and on with my observation about your posts but I’m quite pleased that my Timid Troll suggestion has resonated - I’d suggest most readers now make sure they’re wearing their truth seeker pants when reading your posts.

BTW you still haven’t cited your evidence for the recent suggested direct quote from CEG - why would you fabricate such a quote? I don’t believe I’m being over critical here, such misleading is getting close to the actions of my nemesis on the ADVFN channel who’s been at it for more than a decade!

As I’ve said before I’ve got lots of respect for trolls because it’s a counter intuitive stance for most people and doing it well requires a level of intellect that exceeds most people’s abilities, eg JB on this channel! Having studied the genre signs of trolling tend to stand out to me like a sore thumb.

My advice to you is rather simple, if you don’t want me to think you’re trolling read your post before pressing send and ask yourself, as a claimed investor, will my post encourage others to invest or discourage?

Finally, I’m not the monitor of this board and I’m entertained by posts here of various quality and encourage more posting, whatever’s said but until I’m sanctioned I will enjoy occasionally

I’m quite excited by this quote as it suggests an absolute absence of doubt the Chevron deal will complete. Whilst I have great confidence this will be the case I’m not ballsy enough to make assertions like that. Please cite your evidence that this quote comes from CEG!

Your post also claimed the last update confirmed nothing - I have to say Garry your comprehension level is extremely poor - on the contrary the last update confirmed the ANCAP approval and that the process was progressing to the next stage, in accordance with the procedure CEG had previously advised!

I’m still struggling to understand why somebody like you, with so much concern about the company and Eytan would choose to invest and subsequently claim to have doubled down. Why would you create such a misleading post Garry ?

You were very disparaging about me ` points scoring ’ only the other week but at least I cite my evidence whereas you make up lies because you are too lazy to check your facts. In fact if you review YOUR OWN posts you’ll see that you were critical of me for for merely commenting that CEG would get $12.5 million on completion of the Chevron deal IRRESPECTIVE OF WHETHER THERE IS OIL in OFF-1 !

Regarding point 2 I’m pleased to tell you I’ve never suggested CEG will definitely be able to farm out OFF -3 - clearly that’s the objective and I applaud the company for working diligently towards that. Presumably, as a claimed shareholder, you agree with that stance.

I say ` presumably ‘ with some trepidation as I’m not sure from your comments whether you would have supported the promotion of OFF- 1 if you’d have had your way as you seem to attach great importance to the previous duster! I believe there are many readers here who are amazed you claim to be invested here given your own estimate of COS!

Regarding Trinidad I’m not sure who has suggested It can suddenly be turned around. Just read CEO comments in the interims and elsewhere - he’s professionally guarded about how the company can maximise value from the assets - all I’m saying is that money in the bank expands options for value enhancement which I’d have thought you’d appreciate, as a shareholder. Fields in Trinidad command good prices ( see recent PRD/ CEG field ).

Finally Garry I’ve been posting on CEG/ forebears for around a decade and I’ve seen lots of dusters in that time, including the Bahamas flop you chose to buy into, a duster won’t stop me posting because I don’t misrepresent the risks involved.

For the avoidance of doubt this is a high risk oil exploration and production company DYOR but look at facts not ludicrous posts from poorly researched Timid Trolls!

Have a look at the recent deal CEG made with PRD and then try and justify your ludicrous stance - ` no chance of making profits or being sold on ’ ! Additionally read the recent comments from your CEO in the interim report.

OFF- 3 - existing seismic was encouraging- see the CEG website presentation - it’s well known BP relinquished interest due to low oil price and change of priorities by senior management. At this stage OFF -1 appears more attractive but when more 3D seismic data becomes available for other blocks ( it’s likely the block holders will cooperate on that ) OFF- 3 may become even more attractive- 2 specific areas in block have already been identified.

Let’s remember not long ago Trolls were telling us that OFF -1 wouldn’t get a farm out even though super majors were hoovering up adjacent blocks!

Glad you acknowledge that OFF -1 was a triumph for Eytan and that he was clever to pursue it when others weren’t interested. He was lucky but he made his own luck!
