Sellonnews - you are such a tease with the subtlety of your ramping but although you may consider it too small no one knows what potential this has even for just the work over magic team - at least we can justify putting in some effort there whereas the previous sharing position would have been a slightly demotivating factor - LK wouldn�t have wanted to boost this significantly and then have to pay oodles more for ownership later on. The expense is not negligible but I�m seeing the hand of Tony in this deal - spreading cost to ease cash flow in case the most optimistic scenarios are not achieved - I expect LLL mark 2 version with big cojones for spending other people�s money will now tell us LK should have put money up front to try and maximise future unknown profits - I prefer these deals where all stakeholders pop the champagne with us when celebrations are in order!

Ross - he doesn't need to make excuses for LK - those production numbers were very promising - LK seems to have a good understanding of the business but less understanding that there will always be non invested idiots who fervently attack any slight deviation from utopia. Petersalkeld - Ross has been making more of LK 's failure to complete the small deal than a jilted bride over on advfn so if that energy is reversed on deal completion even the new mother in law might show appreciation!

LayLadyLay - can't believe you are persisting with this line - the shareholders seem happy as do the stakeholders - everyone shares in success- it's probably why Tony managed to put the deal together when others couldn't - for many years! It's even worse for you because Leo didn't refer to incremental barrels so the inference is those figs include the higher rate Royalties on the first 150bopd meaning the rate on incremental barrels is now seriously salivating! I'm happy to wait and examine proper accounts because I don't want or need to mislead people - my point is building daily output baseline is paramount and despite your whinging LK and team are doing it - not making excuses just working to overcome problems. They seem pretty confident about Bonasse field potential even in the short term by getting the magic team on it and I applaud them - next time I speak to Leo I might remind him about TI field as if they can achieve these results on such marginal wells the future IS PURPLE!!!!!

LayLadyLay - you clearly missed the point that with CERP and Goudron it's more about bopd production rather than WTI levels because over $50 we are back to the non - enhanced rates and SPT will have it's place in calculations as will any relief. Deliberately used the $50 figure to keep it simple even though it's circa 40% below current levels so hardly a ramp but it does vindicate my stance about not getting too deeply involved in debate which has little value but if you think you've got the numbers for say $70 let's see them - probably more amusing than your jokes LOL!

Lancy - I've read my ramble again and the point I wish to emphasise is that upping our baseline bopd is more valuable to CERP cash flow than increases in WTI and that will be apparent from the financial accounts - for the avoidance of doubt you did not conflate those issues!

Garnheim - I know we haven't been told how GY669 fits the plan now that the water tap is turned off - can you recall if this is a candidate for possible reperforation at a different level with the A team and the new methodology or has 669 had more perforations than a Tetley Tea Bag !

Lancy - may I applaud your long term support for this company - the Teflon was needed at times but look at the company now - what a transformation! You mentioned netbacks - the exact amount can be a contentious issue so unless people post absolute tosh with an intention to grossly mislead I try not to get too involved - Neil said it was circa $30 @ WTI $50 on ' incremental barrels ' and that figure seems to be a level the company are happy to plan development on. It is less well known that the first 150 bopd attracts a much higher level of Royalties such that only minimal benefit is achieved from it - it is similar to paying rent for the Goudron field. Taking account of this if the production is down at 300 levels Goudron is barely viable but building up that baseline production is key and I see real improvements in these latest figures because the evidence is now there that the new methodology used by the team is working - not without problems - but they seem determined to overcome problems where there can be a solution and that's what I like about the new guys! The news about water flood on GY669 was rather a disappointment as logic suggested this might have been a route one result but the team is moving on from that looking at other connectivity angles and I applaud their efforts - even if they are ultimately unsuccessful - at least they've had a good try and the team are keeping the lights on with the baseline improvements in the meantime which are impressive bearing in mind the low costs involved. LK has repeatedly stated the main development will be SWP and the legal resolutions there were very impressive as well as the financial ramifications so it's a platform ready to go when the time is right - so quite right to give it a bit of prominence in the rns.
