Hello, i am entitled to 1098 shares for the open offer. I am thinking of applying for more shares but I have never been through this process before. I am wondering, is it a case that if you apply for too many that it is rejected because the number is too high? What advice would you give in terms of the number of shares typically granted? gla

@ENT - can I check do you actually apply for the shares through Lloyds, or PrimaryBid? Last time I tried to get shares on the GDR placing, they (Lloyds) refused!

Hello - does anyone know how to claim the discounted shares through Lloyds Share Dealing? I’m using the ISA account. Cheers!

Do we know yet if current share holders can get discounted shares? I also trade using Lloyds share dealing (ISA), and I tried to get GDR shares at the placing price few weeks ago but they wouldn't allow it!!!

I need to dust myself down and get over it and think about what to do. I dont mind being down if I am confident it will come back. Tell you what though, Ive lost a few hairs. £10k to me is massive and I was sitting on a £20k profit last month and didn't take it but was VERY close too. Then speeding ticket and GDR placing etc. I can sell £2k worth of GDR are put into ODX, just not sure if it's actually even worth it. Might then drop to 40p knowing my luck! Im gonna get pis5ed and forget about it, or cry lol

Thank you all for your input. It's not the placing that's wound me up so much, it's the fact of my entry point was 74p just before that speeding ticket. Couldn't be timed any worse and of all the months that I've been learning that wa sthe worst point to go big, and I went in as big as i could at that point with £10k. If it wasn't for this I would not mind but the chances of me now of making the money I had planned are completely gone and i am chasing - horrible position.

What are your views on SP once Design Freeze is confirmed? And how long do you think the placing might hold back the SP growth ?

I’m with lloyds and they wouldn’t allow me to apply for GDR shares when they did a placing. IVe been buying in COV stock since March - started with a few grand. As I made more I invested more. Soda law that percentage wise i was killing it early on I just hadn’t started out with as much. Time went on and I was putting larger amounts in. bought into GDR at 230, then they did the placing at 80. Put my biggest investment here (used £10k profit), went in at 74 then hit with speeding ticket. Been holding on since and now this placement!! So it’s so unlucky because it’s these two trades which have caught me out. Percentage wise ive been doing so well but they were smaller trades so 400% up on £1k is £4k add that with my other investments and then whack all the £10k in this placement is a kiler

Looking forward to this SP climb north. Been holding on and waiting for positive news flow as I have had huge belief since March, and topped up after the BooHoo RNS. So much to look forward to. I see this reaching £2-£3 in the next month DYOR

If people stopped unnecessarily ramping, and unnecessarily deramping wouldn't we live in a much calmer, accurate investment place, with a SP more stable? All you IDIOTS are doing is spreading misleading info and causing stress when expectations are NOT met, because you are sharing OLD news. Not even worthy of my reply, but I find you people a disgrace who share misleading info as it might cost a newbie a lot of money.
