The discovery of the two tunnels, and other sampling across Pepas, shows that the Company did what it could to advance the project during the delay in the purchase of MMA. It's not the case that all that money was spent only to keep the lights on; Slavutsky and Jáñez, the geologists, were exploring during that time (and one look at their photos on the website will show you that they are not old, contrary to Seingred's assertion, which was then repeated by Bhargav).

The artisans knew what they were doing; anything above 5 g/t is high grade; and many of the figures for tunnel B are in the teens or higher.

Drilling down from the tunnel to intersect PEP-001 is clearly a good idea.

Thanks for this. As you know, I have taught in primary school (year 5 and year 6), and the children are not so stupid.

Every quarrel must end some time; England and France fought for hundreds of years, but became allies in the Crimean war, and have remained so ever since. I think you should give up your vendetta against Brad and Louis; they are paid much more than you or I; but that does not make them either wicked or incompetent.

I think there is a misunderstanding about Hargreaves Lansdowne, Lloyd's and Aberdeen. These companies have not invested in OMI; the figures reported are aggregates of the private investors that have bought OMI through these companies.

I don't understand why anyone would not respond positively to today's news (unless they are motivated by malice). The days of despondency are over; and happy days are here again.

Re "Bayesian statistical evaluation." "Bayesian" is the name of the yacht that sank, and drowned its owner, if I remember rightly. Lies, damned lies and statistics.

Maybe "pigs" = "pushing into gold and silver" or "pleasantly into gold and silver." I wouldn't know. Every man has his own sense of humour (which perhaps explains why some jokes, I rate above others).

The only reason we're talking about crypto, is because there is no news from OMI. When or if that changes, we will be talking about OMI.

I understand the wish to make money; but I regard it as a point of honour, to invest in a company which is doing something (in this case, exploring for gold in South America). Bitcoin etc as I understand it, does nothing at all.

This is not intended as a personal rebuke of Seingred, who is a much more successful investor than I am, or ever will be.

Brad has certainly left it late to prove that he is a success. Judging from appearances, he must be in his mid to late sixties (though the Australian sun may age a man prematurely). Which raises an interesting question, who will replace him when he retires? The decision will be taken, (chiefly though not only) by Louis, who is perceptibly younger.

Reading these posts make me realise that I am resolutely irresolute. The optimists (Sharetrader, Dr, Maisiemoo) may be right; but the pessimists may be right, too. John I have always respected; Bhargav, much less so, because of the malice. Yet there is an argument to be made in favour of malice, which I won't bore you with at the present time.

I don't normally make predictions. But this I do predict; Brad and Louis will never buy any significant amount of shares in this company. They are much too sensible for that; and that is one reason (among others) why they are rich, and we are poor.

I had wondered if Brad and Louis would decide to drop the lithium in Nigeria, as they have done the tin in Brazil; in order to save money and simplify things, by making OMI into a gold explorer in South America, and nothing else.

But they have not done so. Perhaps they will, in the not too distant future. I don't see how OMI can possibly fund three projects. El Pantano and Anza make a pair; but lithium in Nigeria looks like an outlier.
