Many were wrong to see this as positive results16 Feb 2026 11:41
This was a bad RNS. Yes it was wrapped up nicely to look good.
The Dilution Problem: The Armchair Trader noted that the results confirmed dilution from shallower aquifers. Instead of tapping into a pure, high-pressure helium pocket, they are pumping massive amounts of water that have mixed with the helium, lowering the Gas-to-Water Ratio (GWR).
Low Gas-to-Water Ratio (GWR): An average GWR of 0.06 m³/m³ is at the lower end of expectations. Low ratios mean you have to process vastly more fluid to extract the same amount of helium, which significantly increases Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) and Operating Expenses (OPEX).
Logistical Nightmare: Handling 250,000 barrels of water in just 20 days is a major industrial undertaking. For a small explorer, the cost of water disposal and management at full production could swallow the profit margins. SELL
