Shortly the board will issue an RNS with a date for the extraordinary general meeting and to recommend shareholders to vote against the resolutions proposed by Frazer. So Frazer will then be making a play to shareholders why they should accept the proposals in particular why Mike Ashely should become the CEO.

I see Frazers taking their stake to just under 30%. That should make people things could go hostile if he does not get his way. Looking good for a battle here.

Could it be that strong he is thinking of a hostile offer? If he is going to fight to get shareholders to accept his resolutions why not fight to take over the whole thing and get shareholder to take an offer? Possible Bid coming?

Obviously the board will now be urging shareholders to vote against the resolutions to instal Mike Ashley as the CEO. Going to be a battle by board and Ashley to convince shareholders. I cannot see the board winning but they must be confident. Its a slap in the face for Mike Ashely. He could now very easily go hostile and that would put to bed the boards choice for CEO.

Now what price could Frazers be willing to pay for the whole Shebang? Make an offer and if accepted he automatically becomes the CEO.
