Nothing signed yet, but the prospective new partner have given an amount that they would expect to invest of $15 Million. Am I right that this is to buy into two projects, one already funded? So for TRP this looks like back payment for monies already put in, for a stake.
The company that farms in for a 49% stake would do very well and buy a stake directly into the company and buy its shares and take a holding direct. It would then have a minority direct stake in the drills but take its ownership in the project to a majority stake by buying the shares. On a deal being announced within the next few weeks, so after or at the same time, I expect the new partner to buy a direct holding in TRP. Cheap way to benefit from the Cameroon play. Cheap entry for them. They are buying into a company that has an enterprise value in the two projects as well as other opportunities for peanuts. At least at half the cost as things stand. New holding RNS very possible. STRONG BUY
