I was expecting builder sp's to continue their recent bearish sentiment of the last 2 and a half weeks and they did till 9:30 but i dont know why they managed a bounceback,i know bwy was upgraded from hold to buy(barclays)and to buy from add at peel hunt no PT,but that cant push up the whole sector?According to reuters they were released 10:56 am.
Also,correct me if i am wrong but the next results out are bdev 4/2/21 & RDW 10/2/21.

What is pushing builder sp's down today? Many down by 2-3% (I haven't seen any builder specific news)

Except for rdw and crst which is off to the races,Its a weak start to other housebuilders today,was nt expecting this but hey...

Uk builders are more affected by uk economy and more likely to follow ftse 250 so i dont think us market will affect uk builder sp's!

Price action is definitely different today from every day 18th jan till yesterday,whereas we would pop once in the morning usually before 9 at the high of the day then sell off into late morning /EARLY PM then close slightly in the red,today for most builders we have held in a v tight bullish range since 8:20 am,dont think its because of crst results

What do you prdict todays close for the builders crst,psn,etc?

The builders have started the day so far down does anyone know why?

The latest housebuilder results in the last two weeks for vty and PSN did not push their sp up,tw did and since then the sector has stabilized but hasn't gone up to recover from the fall from vty &PSN results, even if crst results are positive sp cannot be guaranteed to keep going up afterwards, we'll see ...

Quarterly results tomorrow, what does everyone think?

The sp did exactly as I expected, kept going down and as if there is no update issued today!

Rmg has been in a v bullish trend since results last September,and I know the Czech billionaire was disclosed to have had a sizeable stake but I don't think it's because they think he wants to make a bid cause if he wanted he would have done it when price was lower,so is it just due to Corona and more e-commerce?

I was meaning to buy ever since the takeover was mentioned thinking there could be another higher offer by MGM and/more bidders emerging pushing sp ever higher,thank God I did not!

What are your views on this, are they expected to comment on the tribunal money,that will definitely move the sp otherwise it might not affect BSP much going by previous results breaction.
