Just a general one, you know when broker upgrade/downgrades come out before open at 8,can anyone have access to them straight away before open or is that for people who pay for a premium news service? I have mostly observed them come out after the open when it's too late and it's already affected the price on the day

after evraz got suspended whats the chance that similar companies like pog and poly may be uspended too?

also some one could do a backtest of broker upgrade / downgrade on intraday and daily price
bats price dumped at 11:40 minute same for ftse 100 + dow but there was no news!

just saw this came out at 7:14 am,BAT : JP Morgan raises to overweight from neutral * BAT : JP Morgan raises target price to 4,000p from 3,550p,does anyone know what the daily price action was like when there was a broker upgrade by a big name bank like jp morgan on an ex divi day like today? I would appreciate your thoughts,thanks

this should go down by at least 54.45 p intraday today but instead its been going up since the open so far! Is there a positive news i am not aware of,do you think it could keep going up for the rest of the day till close? i know the ftse 100 is not going up right now intra so !!!

Yes opulentia copper, Allu, iron soaring but what if they sign a peace agreement ie Russia Ukraine within days, metals drop from the present peak and we could wait 6-12 for sp to recover from xdividend fall bearishness?

Pendragon, yes last time it went xdividend it dropped like a brick but with rising metal prices spurned on by the rising oil due to Russia Ukraine this time it could be different...

Do you think just the announcement of a 125p divi soon or 235 for the year should be an enough eye catching reason to pop this tomorrow what ever the results/with a realistic chance of a drop on results day also possible to be followed by bullishness in the days afterwards
