Are we going to go down today? Already down almost 6% has set 3 lower lows of the day, second biggest faller in the ftse 350! More downside tomorrow too? This is too much or if markets bounce tomorrow this will go up massively too a proper reaction to positive results today?!

Otherwise PSN would nt be down more than other builders today now down 4% vs 2% for the rest!

Yes Svend it was but unfortunately the market was not impressed much only up 0.62% whereas it was more impressed with rdw up 2.99%,what can you do?!

Normally companies only declare dividends with yearly reports not trading updates so I am a bit surprised when the press were saying they are also expecting to hear about the divi tomorrow!

I really hope psn doesn't gap down/sell off at open tomorrow, I think it did on January following an update, today vty gapped up at open then closed the gap and is only up narrowly even though results were fine. Redrows results were received much better it was up almost 5% at one point in the morning now up 3%!

Sorry it's actually the other way round I remember now, the higher the yields go up the lower the housebiulder sp go, still surprised why they all dropped big at 15:00?!

Fell to their lowest since February and this was why banks and House builders were down today, maybe more weakness in sp for tomorrow and afterwards

US 10 Yr treasury bond yield fell to its lowest since February. This is bad news for house builders,that explains why they started dropping off from 15:30 onwards to close at lows of the day, before they were setting daily highs every day since 25th June.

What are people's thoughts on this and the effect it may have on sp?

Does any one think this could move sp on the day, going by bkg & crst 2 weeks ago does n't look like it!

So do you mean if I had held shares before today I would have received £3.55 divi per share? I thought the divi was eroded by the shares repricing?

Well rawson we don't seem to have had a sell-off from the news, maybe not many are aware of it if it's only on the site?
