You say that but one of the recent reports saying house prices had gone down a bit last week or so said even if the stamp duty holiday is not extended it should not affect builders sp because mortgage availability is more influential on housebuilders performance and because that is at its highs housebuilders should continue to flourish but remains to be seen whether the market sentiment is the same!

With the negative tax news today,is today the start of a bearish trend assuming stamp duty decision is no renewal announcemed on 3 march and tw +PSN results also on 2nd and 3rd march and a restricted H2B to start in April!

Apparently 4 HB's were mentioned in this anyone know which ,from before its not new.

don't make high rise or "certain new high rise" buildings that gov is proposing to tax therefore this tax should not really affect/worry big 9 builders, right?

I hope redrow and other builders follow suit however there was a big sell off on the 13th and 14th January after PSN and vty results, only the PSN came with a warning about the impact of the pandemic on future profitability although good!

Sp is up but it's taking its time to go higher,just expected more speed!
