Non event RNA over the rns news wire this morning, however I have been in many a share, that has issued a cleansing notice (share status) just prior to major news dropping, as the BOD expecting increased interest and accurate figures required to support TR1 data.

Likewise , sometimes people call multiple big trades , when on the real exchange only 1 exists, on 3rd party sites, you will often see prints with HYPHENS in front of the price/volume, these are AMENDMENTS and CANCELLATIONS, if an AMND as the real exchange would label until recent (cough) upgrade) , you would see a reprint of the original trade, the AMND to remove and a 3rd print to publish the correct data. If a CANC just the two original reprint and the CANC print.

Once actioned , the changes remain on sites like this one, on the real exchange only the valid print would be listed. More distortions to 3rd party volumes/ratio's........

Nasdaq prints half the length of London prints, only one that comes close is Canada, shows the two brokers involved in the trade as buyer and seller, based on their loading status, can tell which is which in many cases, also lists USA insti's etc, so a bit of a heads up, when a trade labelled as an Insti dealing with a regular broker etc..........

All here feed of the original Exchange data and put their own spin on things, as said trying to be helpful but the Algo is almost worthless, when a share in vogue and many prices across the spread, on the wrong side of the mid divide...

Why Level II and above subscriptions can be invaluable, to get a much better picture of what is really going on.

Guy on twitter years ago posted pictures from his advanced level with 20 screens a few years ago , think it cost him, something crazy like 2k a month, was a real eye opener, what he was seeing beyond even the level II status/data.

Just the dimbo Algorithm used by 3rd party sites like this one, having a bad day at the office, every colour code or Buy/Sell/Unknown label you see is only a BEST GUESS, many trades incorrectly labelled on all shares every day.

Only those involved in each trade , know the truth and labels are ZERO to do with the MM's or Market, they just make and print TRADES , they see all as being both a buy and a sell, hence no labels on the real lse Exchange.

Dimbo Algo , is as basic on 3rd party sites like this one as it comes. Based on what IT sees as it's current mid price and range (does not always keep up with rapid changes either) as long as falls within its range , happy as a pig in muck, sees all as normal.

All above its Mid a Buy (never the case) All below a sell (Ditto)

All exactly on its Mid, delayed trades, or seen outside of its range, chokes = UNKNOWN

Its as simple and tragic as that..........Market offered the simple modern fix, to provide real data at source years ago, chose TRADITION over Tech, all after volume on sites like this one a rehash of the exchange trade with added , trying to be helpful and failing miserably on most shares daily BEST GUESS data, making the stats/ratios also 💩most days .

Finally showing some turnover figs on the real lse exchange, very good sign for tomorrow.....
