Yes INPEX a curious one, re-opens an office in TL, to then sell off its license in the TL waters (multi oil leads) can only give rise to thoughts, they are not interested in oil, so the new offices, must be for something GAS, be it license or the INFRASTRUCTURE..........

Shell two years ago, said dumping all but its largest oil projects but will be looking to move on from those also, planning after its hammering in the Hague courts, primary Gas and Gas Infrastructure projects (operator status) with secondary, sourcing future Green and Blue Gas projects (Hydrogen/Ammonia)

What price INPEX, on the same trajectory and with a Green Light, they will step in with Japan funding , to build and operate the ever growing in scope Natarbora (TLNG , OIL/CONDENSATE , PETROCHEMICAL PLANT) 🤔

In addition Woodside struck and MOU with the Japanese Government and its banking arm, to go out and secure, future Japanese Domestic supplies, stating they would provide funding and ALL Japanese companies, would be available and ready to assist (Inpex , national gas co and the many city operators, like OSAKA part of the Sunrise JV)🤔

Darwins East complex - Ichthys started with Total INPEX and a multitude of Japanese offtake companies.

All Woodside have to agree on is that it goes how Gusmao/Horta have wanted it for 22 years. How that is then implemented China BRI infrastructure, Woodside/JV the previously planned 26/28 wellheads - HUB - Pipe to it, or one of many other players that may enter, will follow........ until agreed, TLNG - DARWIN - FLNG, everything else is on hold.

Australian Gov, instigated the current cut's, the original Maritime boundary deal was 50/50 with TL, to try to get things moving OZ, sweetened the deal , TL to get 70 or 80% with either option. Woodside/Osaka still wanted previously planned options Darwin the FLNG (2002/2008 declined by G&H), Timor still wanted the Island.

Do not think the OZ Gov will be a problem, they sweetened the deal just to try to get it moving, all now down to that JV meeting. They agree and the rest can fall into place, they agree to a build , gas has at least one home certain to be Green lighted by TL Gov (zero value, zero path to market removed)

Chuditch has value, even if has to wait for the build, ideally we get the first ever YES to another option, our FPSO , with a side order of TL's 2nd Gas/LNG Imports project for Domestic security, was to be completed by 2025/2026 announced in 2021 , if gets go ahead now, looking at 2028/29, still long before, the latest FB comment of 2032-2034 for Sunrise.

Chuditch , still fits like a glove, for TL's own plans (most importantly) for PM "When Gas becomes available"

FYI, those Woodside valuations, pre the Gas price boom, so what is 33% of Sunrise now ? likewise 60% of Chuditch , if value returned to the long $0.00c TL waters gas (Sunrise , Chuditch and Kelp 10.5-14.5 tcf bigger than both together)🤑
