The Imports Terminal , one known as the P.I.T petroleum imports terminal, started off as being at Beaco , then was going to be Metinaro near Dili, once Gusmao the original inventor of the Tasi Mane concept (He when PM even made it a DECREE LAW) all came back together but now at new location Natarbora
The talk by PM Rauk in 2021, was for the domestic security plan, PIT and conversion to gas of the Islands 3 power stations, ""WHEN GAS AVAILABLE""
as they could have obtained gas from elsewhere anytime, always took that to be THEIR OWN GAS and as the plan laid out was for all by 2025/26 and their plans and latest timeline for G.S Production was 2030 (more recently filthy posted a meeting with now being around 2032) always took that to be when
CHUDITCH GAS available, to feed the power stations, any excess to world markets.
Todays mention of GS exports pipeline and the Bayu Undan Pipeline, still have me thinking Chuditch - Bayu - Natarbora (Import Terminal PIT)
and GS Pipeline - Natarbora (Export Terminal) all as planned for Beaco (now Nat) under project Tasi Mane , since Gusmao's 2002 actions.
Our plan was drilling late 2024/25 , with production by 2028, the drill has been multi delayed and now Q2 2026 (April-June) which would still lead to potential production, long before the old estimates for GS, let alone the last reported 2032-34 estimates, for all ready and GS flowing. (Shell's original plans for GS was for 26/28 wellheads under its FLNG plan 2008.
Our 1 or 2 initially plan, could all be done during 2026, just a question then of how soon, they can fund and build, just the Import side via Bayu, which will be a lot earlier than GS ever comes into the picture, unless things change dramatically, to the two previous Shell Darwin/FLNG scenario's
For me CHUDITCH , remains the FIRST GAME in town.............GLA
