Not a great day, but nothing goes up in a straight line. People sell for all sorts of reasons, a bit of extra cash before Christmas or just profit taking if they bought earlier in the year. I wouldn't worry too much we'll be back above 40p in no time.

This is worth a watch. Along with the link below - They both demonstrate the scale of what Med2005 could be to the ED market. If you think how big the market was 20 years ago and compare that to now - 20 years of middle aged men eating crappy diets has increased the market place hugely.

Cheers Jet, I get the profit taking whole heartedly, you'd be crackers not to having bought in at anything pre 20 - pre 15. I was late to the party so I'm looking for that next rise up to realise any profit. I like the fact that the results will not be simply 'it works' or 'it doesn't' but how good it works and what if any side effects were noted - I heard them referred to as non-binary which removes a great deal of risk as far as I'm concerned. I'm not expecting this to sky rocket overnight but I'm confident we'll be going in to 2020 happier than those long term holders were feeling back in November/December 2018.

Don't disagree with anything you've said my friend. The market place for this product is huge and growing. My wife is a nurse in general practice and the rates of diabetes/obesity etc have been on the rise for donkeys years - the canary in the coal mine is nearly always ED as the smaller arteries/veins get blocked first with all the gunk and deposits associated with our appalling western diet. This problem is not going anywhere but upwards and fast. I believe Viagra with all its many drawbacks and side effects was one of the fastest selling drugs in medical history. Can you imagine what Med2005 will do to the ED market place - yes I'm ramping but it will be revolutionary, massive, a real game changer. The safety profile of GTN has been proven over years and with our DermaSys delivery system and local application, 5-10 minute onset is an enormous benefit. I'm not concerned with small daily fluctuations in price they're irrelevant really. Big pharma will be watching this company very carefully I'm sure of it. How this will play out over the coming month(s) is going to be very interesting to watch. There are a lot of options that could come in to play including a takeover, though whether that would be preferable at this stage I wouldn't like to say - depends on the price I suppose and what the BoD's strategy for moving forward is. I stepped off the AFC train just before it left the station, I'm not making that mistake here. We don't have very long to wait now so we'll all know soon enough.

Doesn't appear to have helped the share price though, in fact a bit of a drop first thing this morning when I expected it to open up on yesterdays closing price. Not to worry, only another 3 weeks or so until the Phase 3 results and it will be a very different story after that.

Cheers for your responses. 23rd or 30th sounds pretty late and not sure who would be around to take note and trade at that time. I like the idea of the 16th if not a little before. Not sure if pre-election or post election will have any bearing either. 50p pre-results would be OK with me too. Would be comforting to finish for Christmas on a rising graph. News of a partnership deal in early January would really light a fire under this stock and who knows where 2020 would take us.

WOW - looking at the 12 month graph for AFC could you ever in your wildest dreams have imagined the meteoric rise in the last month - 400%. I for one couldn't and bailed way too early. Fortune favours the brave and I wasn't brave enough. No sour grapes as I came out after 2 years with a little profit, but how different Christmas would have been in my home if I'd held my nerve for 5 more days. Wishing all those holders who held on and who are now back in the black the very best - you deserve your profits - spend them wisely. I've been waiting at the station for 9 years for a multibagger and I decide to leave the platform when the train came through - what a clot. Better luck next time. Me Too - though I'm keen to see some increased buying momentum kick in round about now and see this rise up above 60p before the Phase 3 data is released in December. I'd like to see more PR going on around this company/product too. This is a massive game changer in the rising ED market. I'm feeling a little wounded today as I sold out of AFC way too early and it's gone on to rocket over the past couple of weeks. Would be nice to think FUM could perform equally as well. Let's start the climb a few percentage points each day over the coming weeks. Does anyone out there have any thoughts as to when in December the results will be published? early, mid or late - though surely not later than the 20th I wouldn't have thought.

A good solid start to the day - up 20% from 1pm yesterday which is very encouraging. I've just found and I'm listening to the Prof Hellstrom chat which is very encouraging and inspires more confidence in the company. I'm more than pleased with my top up yesterday.

Chippyjo - A very apt name. I'm certainly not doom mongering now I'm out. I wish this company and all who sail in her the very best for the future and hope it goes on to achieve great things. You have called back my previous post (which is perfectly fine) which was how most if not all AFC investors were feeling at that time having watched the share slide from the mid 50's in 2015 to about 4p at my time of posting - I think that would warrant a post of that nature and clearly demonstrates shareholder value being destroyed at that point in time. We had also had radio silence from the BoD for quite some time. I hope that adds a little context to my previous post and why I wrote what I did. If this share goes on to rocket over the coming weeks, months and years then brilliant for those invested. I wish you well my friend and hope AFC continues to rise, I just won't be part of it. If it drops back below my sale price I might have another dabble but will see how I feel at the time. One important thing to note though is that currently AFC have no income stream and another placing in 2020 is not off the table. If they get a commercial and saleable product to market and an order in the bag then things could change for the better and quite quickly. Wishing you well. idg69

They deserted me just when I needed them the most. Fortune favours the brave and I ran out of bottle at 11.5p. Never mind, I came out with some profit which is always a bonus. Careful word to any new investors thinking of piling in with all they've got - beware the spike! It's been a pretty meteoric rise over the last 2 weeks and I notice a lot of 'new' posters on this board sounding very exuberant all of a sudden. It's very painful atop of a spike (ask Alan Partridge) you tend to get stuck there for some time before a rescue comes along - take it from someone that's been there and paid the price. I'm not saying this company can't/won't go on to great things but nothing goes up in a straight line and a re-trace is inevitable after a 200% rise in such a short space of time. Proceed with caution and beware the pump and dump boys. Listen to the long term holders they know this company better than most. I am not sour or de-ramping because I sold out but if I can save one poor soul from my experience then my work here is done. Wishing you all well.

Couldn't resist a little top up today, took some profit from another stock and bought another 15,000 @ 30p - let's see this on a steady northerly trajectory over the coming weeks. Would be good to get the Phase 3 results this side of the election. Ananda I like your optimism - 500% is asking something, but stranger things can happen in the markets.

I've run out of brave pills and after being under water on this stock for close to 2 years I've now sold up at a nominal profit and will enjoy the Christmas and New Year not watching charts and reading BB's. The graph's looking a little 'spikey' to me. We've had close to 2 weeks of continual daily rises and I'm not convinced it can continue unchecked. The fundamentals of the company sound better than they have been for some time, but they are still not selling a commercial product and no sales = no revenue. Only time will tell if my decision to jump ship was wise or foolish. I may return when the order book for AFC products is open for business. Nothing goes up in a straight line and after a great week of news flow I expect a little profit taking on the way up will pull this back a little before the next leg up. The fundamentals for this company are considerably improved as a result of the technological improvements they have made over the past 12-24 months. It's a shame the PR machine didn't kick in at regular intervals during that time period and maybe we wouldn't have fallen in to the sub 5p territory, but eh oh we did and nothing can change the past. If we really have what we say we have a takeover at this lowly market cap can't be ruled out. Personally I'd like to see this back in the 20's and 30's over the next 6-12 month period. A few percentage points north each day would suit me just fine. These big spikes seem to attract too many numpties to the party in my opinion. GLA idg69

Don't prod a sleeping bear would be my advice to all who bait Hawkhead to post here. Let's keep this BB positive and professional if we can. He has his opinions and we have ours. As I posted last week, despite being underwater I am quietly confident this will re-rate and rise back up and above the 50p mark before the Phase 3 results are published. Things can change on a sixpence pretty quickly - look at the one month graph for AFC up 130% and rising on a positive news flow. Despite buying in at the top of the spike @ 47p, to watch this fall back to 25p was rather uncomfortable (to say the least) particularly as the stock I held for 5 years and sold went on to rise 50% in that same timeframe (double whammy). I'm not prepared to try and trade my way out of my current losses but I feel 'quietly confident' that pre-Christmas this stock will re-rate significantly on the publishing of the Phase 3 trial news and 2020 will be a significant year for the company. I'm also not overly concerned if/when the BoD need a small placing next year to get the US trials underway as they will be raising funds at a considerably higher price than the previous placing which will only cause minor dilution. I can't believe a big player is not sitting on the sidelines watching this play out with a finger on the buy button. One way or the other we'll all know pretty soon whether it's Turkey and the trimmings or beans on toast for Christmas lunch. I'm not trying to ramp at this point it's just how I feel about this share at this moment in time. Good luck all not long now.

Morning Breezy, I took the cash out of JLP for self preservation reasons and then went chasing the fast buck (again) on a tip from a neighbour (how thick am I) I did the same thing with CPP 6 years back and got seriously burned. I played the long game with BHR and got spanked and then JLP but just lost patience at the 11th hour and now I'm paying the price for my stupidity. FUM could sky rocket in December on good results from their Phase 3 ED trials and I could be ahead again but right now I feel like putting my head in the oven. Wishing you well my friend. idg69
