We've got the CE marking - have you been living under a stone the last 2 months? It's also good for LO because they have an average share price around the 12p mark I believe. I have sold half my holding in FUM and just left my profit invested as I'm not feeling too confident with them right now. Following the Asia deal and the EU approval there should be so much activity and positive news flow and all we have had is more dilution. If this was the wonder product we would like to believe it is then a big market player would surely have been all over FUM like a rash, yet as far as we know no one has come forward to partner with us. I hope I'm proved wrong.

That’s very disappointing to hear. I used to buy Oatly when they were a smaller Scandi owned brand but since they’ve sold their sole I’d rather buy other oat milk brands. They had a great image and story to tell but it will get tarnished quickly if they go down this avenue of big boy bullying tactics against a small farming outfit. I couldn’t agree more with your sentiment.

RWT2 - apologies if I was a little preachy earlier in the day on my soapbox and in no way did I want to offend. You can't dismiss Wichita cattleman (love that description by the way) but he can be quickly debunked by science and the truth - and there lies a big problem. The cattle industry as was once quoted by an ex cattleman, have all the power of big pharma with the personality of the rifle association. Dismiss them at our peril. They have the bank account to fund numerous 'scientific' studies to suit their narrative into why cell-ag isn't what we all believe it can be. All they need to do is sow doubt and spread mis-information amongst the great unwashed, which in todays world is an absolute doddle and the truth is quickly lost in the ether. The tobacco industry did it for years before the truth was widely accepted. Cell-Ag has a huge battle facing it on so many levels, but I believe it will prevail and become mainstream in 5-10 years, hence I'm happy to be an early/mid stage investor. Rwt2 - you really need to some research on the damage to health and environment that the animal agricultural industry actually does - it’s on a biblical scale, that’s before you get me started on animal welfare issues. The brutality of humans towards animals on this planet is horrendous. We coo and whimper over our pets yet treat billions of animals to live lives of absolute misery to then brutally kill them for our culinary pleasure. Future generations will look back on what our generation have done as we look back on slavery. As for drinking milk, why would you deny a calf it’s birthright and choose to drink the growth hormone of a bovine creature - it’s a crazy concept when you actually think of what you are doing. I think I’m pretty well versed to debunk a biased cattleman’s take on cellular agriculture.

What a ridiculous article, a 6 year old could debunk the claims in about 5 minutes. When someone says “For the most part, most cattle production is actually carbon-negative,” Robbins said. “When you take into account all the emissions that are created from tractors and pickups and the cow farts and all the bad things that happen, and then what is actually captured from the ground that they are produced on, they’re almost always carbon-negative.”

Well not so much new kid as middle aged man investing for his retirement in 10 years time. Having put 15k into ANIC last week, I've just had a 5k punt on FOGB this morning. I'm very optimistic for ANIC and love the fact they have a great one man PR machine in Jim Mellon. There are few companies out there that will get the free marketing exposure that man gets and I like that about ANIC. The risk there is that they are invested in start ups and some/many may fail. I like the sound of FOGB as they are invested in listed businesses that are mainly meat and dairy substitutes (I believe, but need to do more research) and the growth potential for these is huge. Happy to sit back and see how both these investments unfold over the next 5 - 10 years. Happy to be onboard with both FOGB & ANIC and wishing all investors the very best.

It’s on Jim Mellons radar. He talks about it in his book Moos Law - which I would strongly recommend anyone invested or thinking of investing in this sector should read. I’m about halfway through reading it and it’s incredibly interesting. It’s a 5-10 year investment is Agronomics in my book. If we get a few ipo’s along the way that will perk up the price somewhat. BlueNalu and Mosa sound most promising to me at this moment in time.

A little miffed I bought in at 28p last week. I would have still put the same money in but would have had nearly 20% more shares. I never seem to get my entry into a share right, it always go down when I buy. I don't think I'll be in the red for long though. I don't see this as a share to trade but to hold for the long term - time will tell.

There’s a lot of growing interest in this sector in the media each day

Hi RWT2, I see this as long term but low risk for a few reasons, Jim Mellon has really done his research in this sphere which gives me great confidence. The risk is spread across many different companies so if 5 succeed and 15 don’t then the rewards for ipo’s on 5 would probably offset the losers comfortably. We cannot feed 10 billion people with meat eating continuing to rise and our current crazy system of creating animal protein through intensive animal agriculture. The environmental and animal welfare aspects of cellular agriculture are just spectacular. Public health is also pretty important but I am still on the side of a whole foods plant based diet being the real silver bullet to many of our health issues world wide. Whilst I choose not to eat any meat or dairy for many reasons I’m a realist and fully accept the lions share of the population won’t change no matter what evidence you put in front of them. I could ramble for hours on this subject but my recommendation would be to buy a copy of Moo’s Law and read that. I do accept the industry will come against some very powerful opposition in the process of commercialisation but it will get there. Big pharma who provide 80% of the worlds antibiotics to the animal agriculture industry and big farmers/meat processing will lobby hard against this but logic and sense should prevail. Brilliant to see the protests at the McDonalds. I won’t even buy a coffee from them. Could never support a business that contributes on such a massive scale to environmental destruction and animal cruelty and markets themselves to be otherwise. A world without them and a whole host of other fast food outlets would be a far better place - they all have a hell of lot to answer for in terms of health, environment and animal exploitation and cruelty.

Stick with anic and just keep topping up and average down when the opportunity arises. I don’t see this stock as high risk, longer term yes but not high risk. Try investing in FUM now that’s a risky stock (I’m also long on that) and will cost you sleep if you let it. My copy of Moo’s law has just arrived on my door mat and the more I read about this industry then the more I’m encouraged by my initial investment. Have a good weekend

Couldn't agree more with RWT2. I am also new to this share this week having started with a punt of 40k @ 28p. If it goes down on a daily or monthly basis I'm not bothered as I'll be buying more each month anyway and it will average out over time. I see this as a 5-10 year investment and won't be looking at this on a daily basis - it sends you crackers doing that anyway. Wishing you well with your investment strategy.

Just for info, my 50k shares purchased this morning are also showing in red as a sell. I do think this is something that should be accurate in this day and age. There must be someway of accurately reporting buys and sells - it gives a false picture to investors looking on these boards as to what is actually happening. It should either be correct or don't report the information at all.

Having been reading up and listening to Graham Clarke over the last few weeks I have now put my toe in the water with an initial purchase of 50k shares this morning and will be adding to my holding in the coming months/year. I watched SXX for over 5 years but it never felt right to plough in (and I'm delighted I didn't as close friends lost out considerably) I like the scale and fundamentals of this project a lot more and I feel comfortable building a small position alongside my other investments. I don't see it as a get rich quick option but I'm happy to sit on this for anywhere between 3-5 years if necessary. Fingers crossed the environmental approval comes through in the near term which should give the price a little leg up to the next level.

It’s frustrating being under water. I first bought on a spike at 47p in July 19 and sat on big paper losses for 18 months being very nervous down at 8/9p. I averaged down a little along the way so I’m back in the black but only just. I could have cashed out at the high 70’s and probably should but got overly excited by the hype. Try to switch off from stock watching daily it only sends you crazy. Good luck with whatever you decide to do but I don’t think you’ll be in the red as long as I was.

Confidence in the markets appears low on FUM at the moment. 27% down from an artificial high at the end of April is not great. I took a some profit off the top yesterday to diversify and spread my risk a little. Considering all that should be happening in the background now we have the CE mark the positive news flow is thin on the ground and we are drifting south.

As an ad man of 34 years I think that's quite a catchy description - (joking) The marketing boys will have a field day with these product as they have many positives and very few drawbacks. They'll get round many obstacles, they always do. I'll get it out of the way now and let it be known I am a new (long term Vegan) investor to this stock. I've said it out loud because that's what we do - please don't judge me for this. I have been reading up on this food tech for a number of years but struggled taking the plunge as it's very much an animal product and an element of exploitation still occurs, albeit very tiny now FBS has all but been eradicated from the process. I'm not naive enough to think the world will switch solely to plant based foods any time soon when the meat eating population is sadly currently growing. They won't be feeding this stuff to cats and dogs any time soon either, it's far too premium a product for that. One huge hurdle amongst many will be the power of the cattlemen in the US and the lobbying against the FDA on safety and what it can and can't be named. The huge environmental and animal welfare factors alone make the case for my investment. If people are going to eat meat then why not have the very best torture free pure meat free from antibiotics and all the other associated diseases the industries hide from the consumer. If these products reduce/put an end to the horrendous cruelty inflicted on animals in the food chain and reduce the massive environmental damage being done to our planet, there's not much to not like.

Becoming a Joke! He is a nightmare more like it - never mind 199 posts it's actually 361 in total and all on FUM. It is relentless, tedious, tiresome and god only knows what will stop him posting. Don't forget he also posts on other boards too. Who on earth has the energy and will to be posting at quarter to midnight on Sunday evening and then starts all over again at 8am this morning. To what purpose and what's his incentive to clog up the boards with so much content? He's like a booger on the end of your finger that you just can't shake off.
