Cheers NDR50, You're right when you say I'm leaning more on the pessimistic side but it's becoming increasingly difficult to see any near term positives with FUM at the present time. The European green light might give us some confidence that progress is being made but with Covid and Brexit thrown into the mix, getting a decision out of Europe any time soon I think will be difficult. I won't be averaging down until the fundraising comes around so I'll just stay on my fence a little while longer. All the best idg69

May I provide some balance as I'm sat firmly on the fence (and boy does it hurt) My take on this company now is that it is no more than a spin of the roulette wheel - black or red, the moon or bust. FUM have everything riding on one product as far as I'm concerned. Yes they have a pain relief formula but where is it and what's been done with it? Not much from what we know. The news flow from the BoD is pretty poor to be truthful. How long have FUM been in existence? and what commercial products have they ever brought to market? They have no revenue/income except for R&D grants but you can't run a company long term on those - they have a very poor track record in reality. I can't see sentiment changing anytime soon (next 12-18 months) as the FDA trial hasn't even started and it's to run for 6 months before analysis begins. As much as we'd all like this to succeed which is why we're here, it ain't going to happen for a long time. Next stop - big dilution to keep the lights on and pay salaries for another 12 months with no income stream in sight - it's the truth I'm afraid to say. I just pray they don't do anything stupid and get in to bed with the likes of Darwin and issue convertible loan notes to keep afloat. BHR did it years ago to keep trading and it cost them and me dearly. I'm neither a ramper or de-ramper but a realist and someone who would rather not be here. When they do do a share placing I hope it's a decent one and they raise enough to get this thing to market. I may average down if/when this drops back below 10p. If the board don't pull their fingers out in the next 6 months and get some sort of commercial deal in place then this could drift much further - 5p isn't unforeseeable. What incentive is there to buy at the moment? Answers on a postcard please. All the very best idg69

Hi Bucolic, sorry to hear you're feeling down today. I've been shying away from posting on this board for some time as it is quite depressing but thought I'd pop in and say hello. I'm about a 1 on the Bucolic scale of gloom too. Not helped by the fact that the £19k I ploughed in to this turkey in 2019 would be worth over £55k if I'd left it untouched and invested in JLP & AFC. Instead I'm sat on a 65% paper loss and a balance of £6.5k at todays share price - now that's pretty gloomy don't you think? I can only see things getting worse too, the BoD are going to have to further dilute sooner rather than later to raise funds (at what price is anyones guess) and I believe another 12 months before any significant news in terms of FDA or EU approval. I'd love to know what the BoD are doing on a daily basis to justify their salaries. Keep yer pecker up my friend it's only money at the end of the day. At least you can sleep easy knowing that the country is in safe hands with Boris and his boys - and if you believe that you'll believe anything. All the best idg69.

Good morning ladies and gentlemen - I was referring to the 2019 spike when I mentioned the peak I bought at. Sorry for not be clearer. I appreciate it has been much higher than that historically. Let's hope FUM are around in the future to experience even greater peaks.

Bless me Father, for I have sinned. It has been a long time since my last confession. I started buying FUM shares in July 2019 right at the peak (47p) and I am a complete idiot for chasing a dream that is now a long way off in the future (if at all). If I had left my investments untouched and never got involved with this turkey I would be a considerably richer man right now. Any chance you could ask the big man (or woman) upstairs to put some lightening up the backsides of the FUM BoD to get this share/product moving?
The company know that they are going to run out of cash in the medium term, I wish they would bite the bullet now and raise a decent chunk at 14p rather than let this slide back to single figures and then do a placing at 8p. I don't mind taking a further hit now if a placing gives us some security for the longer term.
Come on FUM pull your finger out and get this 'wonder' product to market, you've had long enough now.

Progress is being made (slowly) but with another 6 month trial required by the FDA and probably 3 months to analyse that data, plus allowing for further slippage, you're looking at another 12 months before anything significant happens. I think that this will drift south for a while and bumble along between 10-12p until FDA approval is granted. Can't see any interested parties wanting to partner or buy FUM until regulatory approval is in the bag. People will sell on frustration which will pull the price down. In the meantime petty squabbling on this board will continue. I wish I'd never heard of FUM but here I am under water so I'll just sit it out and remain patient but frustrated. This has to be one of the worst boards on LSE. Ananda only posts when the SP is in blue for the day. Do these people really think their ramping/deramping will actually make any difference to the price ?

I couldn't agree more - a very poor board in general which is why I don't post much anymore. Bucolic speaks sense and comes across as a knowledgeable realist, neither a ramper or deramper. But in the main there is little quality analysis and mostly bickering goes on. I am over 50% down but holding for the medium to long term. I wish I'd never invested here and should have stayed in AFC & JLP, or better still gone with GGP but here I am and prepared to sit this out until the end of the year. I didn't envisage the 'placebo' becoming the ED product of the future but stranger things have happened and we could sky rocket in no time with FDA approval and the signing of a commercial partner. These two things are pretty crucial now as the pain relief product isn't looking promising (news on this well overdue).

Good afternoon all. Another crazy day on the markets today. Strange to say it but being down only 10% is pretty good when you look at the volume of fallers down 20% and more today alone. These are very strange times indeed. Anyone with any spare change is going to be able to pick up some very cheap shares over the coming weeks and months. Sadly I can't see the bounce back being as quick as the fall we are experiencing right now. I'm not convinced any good news right now would make a scrap of difference to this share price whilst the virus cases are on the rise.

I hope all FUM holders are fit and well and keeping your heads above water.

Cheers SM_uk I'm quite happy to hold too. I say I'm not worried but the only underlying concern I do have is that whilst we are down here at this lowly 24m market cap we could get picked up on the cheap by a bigger player. That is if we have something they want to get their hands on. We are all in the dark at the moment as to both the Pain Relief gel and the ED product. Let's hope the investor seminar sheds some light on things.

How can we be 16% down today on 35 trades when the Lions share are showing as buys. One 19k sell early doors but the buys and sells are fairly evenly matched. I'm so far underwater I'm not bothered if it's 10p or 15p it makes little difference to my headspace right now. It can go super low for me before the month as it would give me an opportunity to average down before the end of the ISA year - 7-8p would be a great entry point for some. Anyone out there with any spare cash is going to make a killing when the stock market recovers (which it will).

They are fairly meaty trades. Not clear whether they are buys or sells though I would have expected a big dip if they were sells. The lack of news at the end of Feb regarding the pain relief gel from T&R doesn't inspire me with confidence - they've had it for an age so why are we not hearing something - good, bad or indifferent the BoD need to inform shareholders what's going on.

40% up over the last 5 days - has sentiment returned or just day traders making a quick buck? Let's hope the first 6 months of 2020 can repeat the first 6 months of 2019 and I one for one will sleep a little easier. Encouraging to see Lombard increasing their holding.

LordTopUp - You pontificate, you waffle yet you have no holding and you're not shorting either. You just appear to get peoples backs up is my take on the situation. Buy if you're going to buy, short if you're going to short but commit one way or the other, or please depart. You don't add any value to this board and you're certainly not scaring anyone either. You appear to be full of your own self importance, how can it be purely business if you've no skin in the game. If your aim is to wind people up it's working well and you can have a gold star and a seat at the front of the classroom.

Does somebody know something we don't? (Probably) Should we be brave whilst others are fearful? Is averaging down at this level sensible or just throwing good money after bad? The news flow from the Bod is pitiful. As of today we are 2 months on from the publication of the Phase 3 data results and not a jot of further info/clarification from the BoD - very poor. I was looking for a sub 10p top up level, have been presented with sub 9p and now I don't think I'm brave enough now the opportunity has presented itself. Whilst the company is funded for 12 months, we still don't know if they have a saleable product in the stable. If the pain relief product is returned and DermaSys amounts to nothing as an ED product, what do FUM have? Come on FUM pull your fingers out and inform your shareholders.

The phase 3 results were published on the 10th December and we are now almost 2 months on. What is going on behind the scenes at FUM? and what are they doing about moving forward with both the ED and pain relief product? They put a spin on the ED (Dermasys) route to market now being much quicker and less regulatory, so what is happening? There's been no news that I'm aware of on the Cannabinoid project either. Come on FUM step up a gear and keep your shareholders up to date.

We're bouncing along off the 11p mark but not really going anywhere. Until the BoD release any positive news (if they have any) we have nothing to cause any lasting rise and we'll just bumble along and possible decline further. Would like to average down before the end of March but not sure I have the confidence right now.
