Back to OMI, have I mentioned how I like to think of PEPAS as basically a very large gold nugget. It’s maybe not the largest deposit in terms that of land volume, but it’s such high grade my head thinks of it as a massive gold nugget.

I agree, oil is likely to take off and that impacts AISC -heavily. But I didn’t want to get too bogged down…..

The main message is that gold will go up, but picking a share like this will outperform the increase in gold. By multiples :-)

This is NEITHER far fetched or improbable

So what if they double the gold? Then fair value is 4.8p post DFS.

So what if the price of gold goes to $7000/oz … then based on $1750 AISC the factor is 2.14 and 4.8p becomes 10.2p. …. So x20

All what IFs but none of this is far fetched OR improbable….

On the technicals, we’re still in the same uptrend channel but pulled a bit away from the SMA. So a day or two of (small) retraces isn’t surprising.

This will kick on again next week… fundamentally looking for a whole new trading range. The current range is just the SP waking up, not breaking out.

Silver bullet - duno much about these but on my watchlist. Breakout capital ventures on YouTube suggested this is making good money and is undervalued (tho the main focus there is on charting and not fundamentals)…

Basically we’ve just been told ‘we’re working on it’.

Which we already new, but unlike some shares where there are long periods of silence we are being kept informed. Makes a difference.

Investors have short attention spans (or realise opportunities elsewhere) so a delay of 2-3 months will see some money exit as other opportunities come to pass

Running fast …. I think it’s a combination of the price of gold pullback (tho it has rebounded) and the MRE was mooted as being November at one point but it will be Q1.

I think it’s mainly the latter, but the drop in POG compounded things.
