RE: Crane on site23 Apr 2018 12:35
Pboo (he has me on filter cus I called him a ramper ages ago on UKOG) up to his old tricks again. Read Alans post last week on subject of crate and yet he still tries to make out the opened crate is the saviour of the world.
As for that photo of the crane. Look at the shadows compared to those taken by others at different times. The gate faces approximately ENE looking in so shadows inside the gate are pm and outside AM. If you get the hedge you know it is afternoon. Amazing how some will try it on.
"Pboo - appreciate you revisiting the site to take further photos.
After reviewing the photos and especially the close up photo of the donkey over X2, I would say it's highly doubtful that the ESP downhole pump is in that crate. Firstly the ESP is an expensive piece of kit with electrical connections, so I would be very surprised for Angus to leave it out in the elements (even with it being covered, it's not in a controlled climate free of moisture). I would expect the ESP crate to be kept safely in a ware house, ready for the rig to arrive and then it would be shipped to the site. Considering this is the replacement ESP, even more careful handling should required."
