This is becoming comedy central. The company that drilled at Brockham and is in dispute with SCC is now going to perforate the Kimmeridge at Lidsey without an FDPA and planning permission. They have just spent millions on drilling X2 and they are now going to abandon the Great Ollite and 200bopd to produce from the unknown Kimmeridge layer? All without consultation with WSCC and the OGA. That really makes sense to me.

3.2.2 The borehole preparation and flow initiation operations will be undertaken over a period of 4-6 days on a daytime basis only. It is very disingenuous to raise the hopes of other PI's who know nothing about drilling for oil. Stick to the facts. You can't prove a FDPA has gone in. No planning application has gone in.

They said that about Brockham and then published a RNS when they had. Pure conjecture then especially as they would surely have included it in the last planning application to WSCC

ESP should if anything improve the flow rate as the whole idea of it is to stabalise it. Switching the nodding donkey on and off all the time is not ideal.

which bit of the planning application did you not understand? I would have thought this was perfectly clear and was the latest official edict on the subject. No further drilling or other intensive operations are proposed. No physical development or alterations to the previously approved site layout are proposed. The operator is seeking use of the site for ten more years to allow for the remaining reserves to be extracted, after which restoration would be undertaken. The top 15 feet of the Greater Oolite formation was perforated yesterday from 3,320 feet MD down to 3,335 feet MD.

X2 was not perforated. It has a slotted liner.

So what. I'm not going to guess what it is for. It could have been delivered to the wrong place for all I know. What is clear is Brockham had the same scenario which is producing from a different level in the field aka the Kimmeridge. 11-May-17 11:00 RNS Brockham Oil Field FDP Addendum submitted. Brockham was producing from the Portland so needed OGA approval to produce from the Kimmeridge. Only way that can be done is by producing a FDPA. 23-Oct-17 07:00 RNS Angus Energy receives OGA approval. OGA approves FDPA. The present planning application for Brockham is for producing from that level; the Kimmeridge. No such consent exists for the Kimmeridge or any other level at Lidsey except the Great Oolite. You can think or say what you want but it doesn't make it right. Can you prove that permission exists to produce from the Kimmeridge at Lidsey? I thought not.

bnzltn No No FDPA or planning application or approval given for either. Last planning application was quite clear when it said "No further drilling or other intensive operations are proposed." but in the future I would not put it past them going down that route.
