Energy Diary - American-based Aladdin Middle East will drill a Basur-3 exploration well in Siirt to search for oil. 
Aladdin Middle East Ltd. Sti. Oil exploration work is planned in Basur-3 location area, which is in AR / AME / K / M47-b1, b2 exploration license in Central district of Siirt province. 
Within the scope of the project worth 6 million liras, the company will drill Basur-3 detection wells in approximately 360 thousand square meters of pastureland and search for oil. Do you know when or why Sonar Petrol Arama Uretim Ltd surrendered their share of the M47-b1-b2 Resan/Basur licences? It seems strange as they are also the other shareholder in the East Sadak licences where they drilled the 1st well in 2013 so have local knowledge of the geology.

SG's for Portland and Kimmeridge are different. Brent oil has a SG of anything around the 0.835 mark. The Portland is 0.846 and the Kimmeridge is 0.825.
Normally a conversion factor for tonnes can be anything around 7.3 for Brent depending on the SG but as oil is measured in m3 a conversion factor of 6.29 is far more accurate.
Fresh water has a SG of 1 so you are correct.

It has not all been a bunch of roses.

imo they are increasing the production as the price oil oil rises. The cost of getting rid of the waste will be pretty constant so they can afford to open the taps so to speak. Think we can expect a noticeable increase in the February figures.

UKOG are limited at the weekends by the opening hours of HH. From 1300 on Saturday no HGV's are allowed until 0800 on Monday morning so I am very confused by the contents of the letter. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to work out the figures make no sense.
