Shame you missed the key word "net". Who knows what the gross will be.

Perhaps some of the more eloquent rampers would like to give reasons why punters should buy this share now so we have it on record. IMO there is nothing to suggest in the next few months that the SP should rise. In fact I can see it sliding until Basur resumes.

AME are the Operator but Oceanmec are doing the drilling and UKOG are paying for it but I wonder who is pulling the strings. Is it the muppet show? Who is waldorf, statler and kermit?

It would appear that cyan profile has gone. He was the one that believed a sidetrack was being drilled. Is it a coincidence that the posts from Saturday were removed?

I did contemplate putting it in. Stuck bit is less than 1% but they did well to recover it.

Doesn't sound like they took out insurance on the drill.

But if you look back through my posts I did warn about a stuck bit aka LGO years ago but then again it was probably removed like all the informative posts made on here.

And a bloody good job they did.

I have to say this.

The drill did the talking.

Turkey: Basur-3 drilling update #3

UK Oil & Gas PLC (London AIM: UKOG) has been informed by Aladdin Middle East ("AME"), the operator of the Basur-3 ("B-3") appraisal well (UKOG 50% interest) that the rig has performed a successful recovery or 'fishing' operation to free a directional drilling assembly stuck in its 12¼" hole section and return it safely back to surface. The incident occurred after the well had made good progress, reaching a drilled depth immediately above the Garzan and Mardin target objectives, which remain untested.



AME now advise that in order to achieve the well's primary objective of appraising the Basur-1 oil discovery, a deviated mechanical sidetrack, B-3s, is now planned to test the Garzan and Mardin targets, the existing 12¼" hole section being considered unsuitable for onwards drilling.

Could be a site issue as all posts between Sun 07:34 and Sat 15:14 are missing.
