Congratulations. A very useful link. It is the first update to AME website in about 4 months since they employed an IT Specialist. He couldn't even get that right the first time he put it up about 3 weeks ago. Hardly earth shattering news considering the number of wells they have drilled in that period.

I have to say this. But they are only negative to you and not everyone else on this board who are more than capable of unbiased thought imo. Over 75% of posts on this board are positive with the other 25% being made up to suit the posters trading position imo.

If it was a duster it would have been reported by now. What makes you think it is a duster that is causing a delay? It could be they have run out of bits, stuck drill, hit unexpected harder rock, casing didn't arrive or any number of things.

28th Jun 2021 7:00 am RNS Turkey: Basur-3 Drilling Commences (26th June @ 1818 hrs local time)

Looks like SS was expecting a 1500m drill.
"Drilling costs are also forecast to be significantly lower than for a comparable well in the UK. AME's cost estimates for a 1500 m depth well in the Licence are around $3 million gross."

So where are they now? We have seen pictures of two used drilling bits. Rock formation is nothing unusual so why is it all quiet on the Turkish front? The last time we had this drought on news was when they drilled BB.

Timings
The inquiry opens at 10am on Tuesday 27 July.

Other hearing days will begin at 9.30am, except Monday 2 August which is due to begin at 2pm. Each day is expected to be divided into three sessions, each of about an hour and a half.

A pre-inquiry site visit is on Friday 23 July. There will also be a second site visit, possibly on Monday 9 August, after all sides have given evidence.

I remember them announcing 500 but not 600. Should be 700 this week.

Not even got to 900 oil tankers yet. I'm sure they will announce it.
