Just how Ballistic do you see this going. Any thoughts. I have mine but just get laughed out of court. I suggested some time ago that we could do a Rockhopper went from 46p to £4 /£ 5 in no time. I accept that they had far fewer shares and oil price was 100 a barrell then but they had an infrastructure out in the Falklands miles from anywhere and a lousy farm in deal of 30/70 i expect ours to be considerably better when i comes and i have a feeling that unlike 2012 we might be the only game in town so to speak.

Working hours is that UK working, US working hours if an American major or Australian working hours as i believe our people are out there.

I have a high tolerance threshold but this negativity is even driving me mad. I have no problem with critics but i do not destructive negativity. It is easy being negative you just say no to everything. It is when the come up constructive criticism then i will listern and take note but at the moment all i hear is "We are all doomed" fine but tell us why we should all be afraid of the doomsday rather than tells us that we are.

Interesting to listen to that again. Zac seems to think that it would take 3 months (April to June) to get results. Someone on here thought that we would knwo by Xmas. I assume Zac is refering to full and complete analysis for what we have found rather than a simple yes or no which i think most of us on here would understand. Everyone except a few naysayers seem to think that this potentially massive.
At this point in time with Covid 19 setting back many economies on the face of a second wave coming or already arrived. Stock markets bouncing around like a yo=yo this share may become the only game in town for the next 10 weeks or so.

Those papers and talks as i have said were not aimed at little investors like us no matter how many millions a few on this BB may have. They were aimed at pension funds and or majors down the line. I would assume the major pension funds are looking over the RNS plus a look through the credibility of the BoD and their track record and hopefully will come on board in the next week or two and then this will really fly.

I was not expecting £1 at point of spud but certainly more than 8p. I thought LK reckoned before merger of Columbus being around 10p and then 22p in May of 22. Also there was an oil analyst on about BPC in February who estimated the share p;rice i think it was at spud suggesting 36p per share. That would suggest with the merger that the price would be :

I would think both prices are out and the real result will slight below half way between. On successful spud it will quickly move to £1 (imo) but before then. LK suggested that Columbus i think (pre merger) would be around 10p (22p by May22) and an oil specialist back in Feb i think it was suggested BPC to be around 36p at spud. He described it as potentially a complete game changer i think it was. Since then the merger has diluted this down so my calculation is 75% of 36p is 27p plus 25% of 10p is 2.5p the two together make 29.5. Take a bit off for further dilution of shares and other issues and my reckoning is a price of 25-28p as an estimate.

Can i ask a question to the oil men on here who been there and done it.
From what i can gather this well when it gets drilled is an exploratory well. Chosen because there potentially 9 reservoirs or pockets of oil (potentially). consequently i would guess we are getting nine spins of wheel with one roll of the dice so to speak.
This well is to qualify and quantify what is or is not down there.
What happens if we have a gusher i presume that we will be prepared for likely hood no matter how unlikely it might be.
If it does happen how does it affect rest of the drilling to confirm, qualify and quantify the other seems that may come after this gusher.

Yes i understand but it would only make sense if this was the absolutely last brick to go into place. A placement would come in at below market price for the shares at moment afterall who would pay more if you can get it for this price on the open market. This would dilute the share price significantly (probably below the 2p threshold that keeps on being mentioned). So as i say it would be a last resort and i would have thought my now would have been taken up.
The other thinking is that if the BoD were thinking of this route they would tried everything way of RNS however irrelevant to try and boost the share price to get the maximum return. The BoD have made no effort in any way to boost price over last two months so a placement in my mind would be ridiculous but as you says needs must.

A share option fund raising is not an option.
1) the price is far too low now to even think about it or make it worth while.
2) I am not certain you can organize a Rights issue in just a few weeks.

I have a feeling that this share price is one that is waiting to explode. It is a bit like giving a rocket a certain amount of time to get to the moon but then keeping it on the launch pad. Once the fuse is lit (ie RNS on funding or Farm in etc) then it will fl even faster than originally intended. It is almost as if it is being stoked by the in action of this board. A share price by Dec 2021 of £1.50 is possible (very possible) but do not be surprised if it goes above that quicker and then settle back. When it goes this will have a momentum all of its own so get yourself a get out price and take that if and when it comes. IMHO

As i see it we are in holding pattern. There is no point in the rig (whichever one it might be) being in the Bahamas before end of November for fear it gets swept away in a last minute hurricane.
We are waiting on major investors taking up more shares after all that is what the two position papers were aimed. They told us nothing new and imparted little or no new information.
Major investors are looking for signals from company that this time it is for real. Maybe this is why we have no major investors because the company is backward in coming forward with information. Maybe reticent to deal with company that keeps such a low profile with its shareholders.

Company possibly still in talks with majors Maybe trying to play both ends off against the middle.

Ok that will be interesting but will it be the consolidated results of the merger or just the first six months to June prior to merger in which case history will have rendered almost useless. What the post Balance sheet events part has to say that might be of more interest. A seperate RNS might come out wiith it.

This rocket is at the moment on a delayed take off pattern due to illness concerns and NASA control not fully onside yet. But when it does take off it will shift right through the gears very fast with very little getting in its way. We will have the odd ejection moment first for those who have not done the proper altitude training etc and then for those too scared of going round the dark side of the moon. But once we are there if you excuse the Pink Floyd analogy a bit further there should be plenty of Money, Money Money for all who have stayed the trip.

I agree when running your own business one of things you need to do is keep people informed even if putting them on a holding pattern. This is far better than just leaving them wondering if they have been forgotten. We need something from BoD just a little something a bit more often might not be about the main event but something ie in this case what is happening with Trinidad. A lot of people think that is a waste of time personally i think it is more important than a lot of people give it credit for.

I know it is one or the other i was trying to get a general fix as to how one might value such an asset and do accept that is very much finger in the air and see what happens.

Assuming we find 1bn barrels what would be fair price to get for that per barrel if oil is at $40 per barrel. I was thinking somewhere between £5-7.5 per barrel or is that being ridiculous.

Had not considered this possibility. Wonder if the individual parts would end up greater than selling the whole.

We are on the runway the question is are we in a jet or a bi-plane and a very bumpy ride or a smooth take off through the gears of jet. My hope and opinion is it is a jet but if we hit a few air pockets secret is not to panic.
