Crocqman:
I think you'll find they can defer reporting:
Above a certain size, where a qualifying investment firm is dealing on
own account with a counterparty and within a calibrated deferral period.
The deferral period can range from 60 minutes, 120 minutes, end of
trading day or the end of the next trading day.
As per:

Just IMHO
Indeed, they would sell at VWAP (Volume weighted average price) with 15% volume throughout the day, in this case I don't believe the broker even has to book the small trades as they come in, they can just build it up and then book the total amount at end of day.
I see Angus, Ascent and Frontera at Flagstaff. Looks like he knows how to pick em!
Surely they should be opened back at the price they were taken off at (0)?
Yes on a MM stock they will be either the buyer or seller, but there is still a buyer and a seller for each trade.
I think it would make more sense to not list whether a trade is a buy or a sell as do agree this is misleading.
How many times do you think this question has been asked on bulletin boards? Get's a bit silly.
For every buyer there has to be a seller, so it matters not. If you want to gauge the way the market is reacting to a stock far better to enter dummy buys/sells and judge by the quotes/permitted size you get offered.
Can anyone else feel one of these coming?
