Pecten, thanks for this but it still doesn't take away from the fact that he has invested quite heavily in this personally (admittedly his investments are at least offset by what I would imagine is a hefty salary). Looking back at the RNS it seems his holding has been reduced by placings etc along with the rest of us who have been here for any length of time.
HI, It's all listed on this site on the directors deals tab, I am surprised by that amount of director ownership as if I look at the RNS for his purchase on 20th Apr 2021 of 25mln shares it says:
"Following this purchase, Mr Prelea’s total beneficial ownership in the Company is 1,606,514,739 Ordinary Shares, which represents approximately 7.54% of the Company’s issued share capital."
Hi all, I have a fairly small holding here, but note all this bashing of AP. By what I can tell it seems he has sunk a fair bit of his own cash into this also so surely he is aligned with holders more than a lot of other AIM directors? Over 80K invested last Feb if my math's is correct along with plenty of other big purchases if I go back through the history? Just checking I have not missed something here? TIA
I wouldn't be surprised if we see a massive sell off down to near 5k levels at some point, it's a pretty dire situation out there at the moment and something has to give. This is when we will likely see Gold spike as people run for safe havens though so could be good here imho.
Indeed, doesn't make very good reading at all, this bit particularly concerns me :
"These material uncertainties may cast significant doubt upon the Group’s ability to continue as a going concern and therefore its ability to settle its debts and realise its assets in the normal course of business. Notwithstanding these material uncertainties, the Directors have a reasonable expectation that the Group has adequate resources to continue in existence for the foreseeable future and have concluded it is appropriate to adopt the going concern basis of accounting in the preparation of the financial statements. The financial statements do not include the adjustments that would result if the Group was unable to continue as a going concern."
