The Russian government has introduced a bankruptcy moratorium with effect from 1 April to 1 October 2022 in respect of all Russian legal entities and individuals (“Persons“) except for certain residential real estate developers.

The moratorium is intended to protect Russian debtors against creditors’ claims and provide support for players on the Russian market given the challenging environment they operate in. It applies to all Persons irrespective of their solvency.

The market has just been informed but I think some Gold selling has happened by POG because it does not say when the waivers were lifted by GPB

"GPB has issued waivers of its offtaker rights such that Petropavlovsk has been able to sell gold to third parties, and the Group has identified new buyers as well as applied for a gold export licence".

This is the main point at this stage of proceedings after the collapse of the CiiTech deal
Hopefully the collapse was a deal not beneficial to shareholders....a silver lining to come after the collapse from the cannabis world and CiiTech.
A new deal will be being worked on but again will take time due to due diligence etc.
Trying to stay cool about the whole thing and hope we will have good news to share ...but unsure when!
Been a tough ride and many are trapped at higher prices but we live in hope of RTO success in the not too distant future.
