Only 23 trades yesterday and none of those were significant in any way. Is that due to a lack of interest or because everyone is holding firm waiting for first gas and/or sale news?

This board is a dream compared to some of the other chats I'm on (Angs, 88e, Hur to name a few). It'll get worse as this starts to move and idiots will turn up (I'm relatively new to posting but I try not to be an idiot). The trick will be for the excellent posters, that attracted me here in the first place, to continue to provide their balanced, detailed and (relatively) factual contribution.

Because they want to process it themselves but need to build the facilities to do so.

Surely the dream is for FOG/Santos/Tamboran to prove what they suspect and for a major to come in and sweep up the lot at a premium? Whilst it is romantic to want to sit it out and produce, the risks/costs involved and more so, the timelines for shareholders will be problematic.

Shoot me down if you think I'm wrong but that seems to be the best way, for FOG at least.

Yanis and Taverham (both in my view genuine posters) seem adamant that a 'few weeks' is not possible (although I guess the definition of a few weeks is open to interpretation!).

We need an Ops Update to settle some nerves and show us exactly where we are, ignoring the sale process entirely.

I held GBP for ages and it did nothing so I used the money to buy elsewhere but it's been on my watchlist ever since. At the first whiff of something this morning, I desperately to get back in but I couldn't buy any. We are only talking £1,700 . In the end, after many attempts I got £700 worth.

The moral of the story is kids, be patient when something seems so good!

Very fair point Yanis, but it was known about by each of the 6/7 bidders so must be part of the negotiations.
