I'm off the opinion that Mirasol is a NIMBY. I've seen him/her post positively on other O&G stocks so it can't be a green agenda. It's a bit tiresome.

Surely a healthy and profitable Hurricane will make it more attractive to CEO/CFO types so they will naturally become more easily replaced?

I don't think the sale process was a charade but I was expecting to see more of an update by this stage. It looks very much like any other parties, if they are genuine, are awaiting gas before showing their hand. Given the progress being made towards gas, I think this will work in our favour as I'm pretty certain someone could have got themselves a bit of a bargain if they had taken a chance earlier.

Time will tell.

Given the revelation that HITS holds 560m shares earlier, I wouldn't be surprised to learn that he and Gideons are actually good mates. ;-)

It's more positive news. Credit to HITS for his message when he pointed this out yesterday. He almost sounded pleased! I'm beginning to think he's massively invested and this will turn out to be the biggest bluff in history!

What is a little disappointing is that the initial jump in SP was reversed but it's not a massive issue as gas flowing is where the real rise will come from.

The way I read it, is that the first RNS was specifically focusing on the timeline whereas today's Full Results message is a poorly worded summary. The 10th RNS is the timeline.

Based on previous months, we should expect an Ops and Financial update this week. Fingers crossed for some indication of the near future plans.

A strange one this. Since they initially announced their potential interest, SOU's value is down by over a third. Surely they are not in a position to fund a buy out as it was an 'all shares' offer so why would they wish to extend?

I would imagine that keeping SOU involved might make another suitor twitch first and show their hand but I expected SOU to either make a derisory offer or walk away.

I think I'm right in presuming that SOU are subject to these deadlines because they stuck their necks out whereas other parties aren't because they've not made clear their intention to make an offer?

I don't trust him. He's a bloke (I presume?) that I don't know on a message board but at the same time, I will be polite and listen to his point of view. I don't take anyone's advice on here but I will converse with (almost *) anyone. My view is that others may unearth a great piece of research and find sources of info that I may miss. Provided they share the source and don't claim to be 'in the know', you can use the info to make your own mind up. The 'enemy' can also be a barometer to stop you getting carried away ( Like I did with 88e's Charlie-1 and got burnt so don't listen to me either!).

I like to think that the majority of people are genuine and don't wish people harm but some do so be wary of everyone!

As for geothermal, I am running my own project and I have the bought kids really good quality bucket and spade sets. They're out in the garden now. I'll let you know how they get on!

And seeing that your response to Yanis could also apply to my resonse, I have no idea why HITS does what he does so you'll have to ask him. I just don't get wound up by it (too much).

Bill, let's be clear, I'm not defending anyone. I did suggest SB ignore Gideons yesterday but I provide that advice to everyone!

That said, I don't have Gideons filtered as some of what he says is interesting and most of it is amusing! A lot of it is rampy nonsense too but I can overlook that.

I agree that some people who are not invested spend an inordinate amount of time on here, not something I would do. But HITS, for example, does add value if you look beyond his agenda being different to yours. He clearly wants ANGS to fail but at the same time, he's usually careful not to say anything that is shown to be factually incorrect so he is attacked instead. I've called him out in his stance but in a reasonable way and he is always reasonable back.

This is a BB and a variety of views are important but some feel they have be firmly in one camp and will defend their position even though it's not really necessary.

Just my view.
