As I suggested a few days ago, I think people are wary of a repeat of previous years' pre-drill excitement only to be disappointed when the results were in. But this year is different.

The drill was exemplary (unlike last year), the 3 horizons have all shown glimpses of what we are after and once we've got confirmation, we are ready to flow test. No guarantees but we're going about it in a professional way.

Patience team and maybe even a cheeky top up with this drop ;-)

I will never quite understand the dynamics of the these shares. The ANN that popped up in Oz last night told us:

1) TD had been reached way ahead of schedule,
2) All 3 horizons had been intercepted with elevated gas readings,
3) Oil shows were revealed in all 3 target levels.
4) Wireline to get underway to confirm mobile hydrocarbons and reservoir quality.

Then the share price drops by 11%! What was expected? We've discovered that the Earth's core is actually one enormous reservoir and we've planted the 88e flag in it?

Still, I read the bullets above and look forward to the results being shared in the next fortnight.

In fairness to Mira, there is always an anomaly before opening that most days shows a 25-30% drop. Although a couple of days ago it was a 20% rise and I got all excited for a minute!

Reading on HC, there seems to be much scepticism. I'm not entirely clear what they expected to hear before and testing has been undertaken but there you go. Plenty of time for wireline and flow testing given the excellent drill so far.

I feel I must point out that the only 'green swamp monster' who has posted thus far (until WG a moment ago) is HITS and he's been pretty balanced.

Just enjoy the good news chaps and stop with the childish nonsense.

DW shouldn't have inside knowledge as he's an ex-employee of the company but if he does and he's dumped his shares on the back of it:

a) Why didn't he sell them all?
b) Who is feeding him the info and how long should they spend behind bars?

I'm feeling this must be a case of people being wary from previous years and the slightly disappointing results. For me, this is our best chance yet of getting some really good news but we've been saying this for the 6 years I've been involved here.

I'm sticking as I really, really want this to come good and I can't imagine not being part of it but I'm not balls deep like I have been in previous years. I will never forget THE Charlie 1 RNS landing and the opening line about confirmation of mobile hydrocarbons? I was so excited only to read on to discover that Premier had pulled out and the well abandoned. I should have sold to give me a free/reduced ride but I was so convinced it was going to work out, I took the risk. Lesson learnt.

I had another look and the most recent thing I can find is the Brockham reinjection decision. I cannot find any mention of the SFB changes.

A little patience needed, wait until end of April for indications on the level of interest and go from there. Hopefully in May we'll discover that Jackie got another one right (inspired guesswork or ears in the right places?) and at least one of the majors is eager to snap this up!

It's unlikely much will change until then.

Morning Yanis, I did try to search the EA website for it previously and whilst I found earlier ANGS/SFB stuff, I don't believe I found the current application detailed anywhere.

But I'll check again to be sure.

Selfish, I want suggesting you said he/she is a NIMBY. That's my view based on posting elsewhere.
