Unfortunately this just hasn't rallied (on JSE) in the way I hoped. This to me suggests tomorrow's RNS will be asking for more time. As LTB says, the exact phrasing will dictate what happens next. Potentially a very sharp downward spiral. Potentially. GLA.

Signing tomorrow? No chance.

Announcement tomorrow? Yes but not necessarily the one we want. Still no JSE spike. This could go either way unfortunately.

If there was a leak, there would be a much sharper spike in the JSE price (90 >). So unfortunately I am sceptical of any leak. Maybe tomorrow?

Looking like sells to me. But surely not big enough trades to be too concerned about ? A single massive sell - before Thursday's likely update - would not be so good :(((

Also, it has occured to me that PowerChina might be trying to spin things out to the last possible moment - before KP2 goes under - in order to increase leverage and get the possible terms. I think that is the most likely explanation for the delay - and why KP2 said so confidently and I think sincerely - but erroneously- that the EPC would be signed "by the end of October".

Knowing Kp2, there will be a last minute (Wednesday) RNS with an update. The company plainly isn't going to live up to its "expectation" of epc signing "by" the end of the month so will be kicking the can down the road and asking for more time. That needn't matter provided the company doesn't go bust, and provided the epc does eventually get signed!

The sp yesterday jumped just before midday so I'm guessing buys

Either way, it's the largest kp2 trade I've seen on the LSE. Interesting...

Some big buys today (looking like HNWI with £140k buy). Nice upturn....

Mitch - if the epc is postponed, would a fundraise be successful? The company could lose all credibility by that point...

I think this is just PI nervousness before a big announcement, although it could of course go either way....

Ltb....it will cease to exist because the company warned, in its last RNS, that this will happen by the end of the year. It will run out of money. Its from the horse's mouth.

The Epc was "expected" to be signed "by" the end of the month. This clearly isn't going to happen because of legal issues,which may or may not be minor. If not minor, the company - as warned - will cease "as a going concern". If minor, Epc signed late

This could go either way....
