£40k buy today - a PI seizing the chance....

I'm a long-term optimist because, for me, the real hurdle was the signing of the EPC in November. If there was any significant trouble on the horizon then the large IIs ("Significant Shareholders") would have downsized or exited altogether. For me, the very recent falls are likely to be a sign of PRT ("Pre-RNS-Tension") by private shareholders. I reckon that Friday's RNS (KP2 always leaves things to the last minute so Friday very likely) will confirm all is still on track for end of Feb. Let's see, let's hope. KP2, over 2U....

It is easy to forget that -

a) the majority of mining ventures don't take off at all, such are the numerous obstacles (ranging fomr geological to financial) that they confront. Remember Sirius Minerals ?

b) investing in sub-Saharan Africa is a massive risk, even at the best of times.

So how does one weigh this against the obvious potential of a project like ZIOC's...??

I would be extremely surprised if financing negotiations had broken down now - a month before the deadline, which leaves so much room for haggling.
