This mornings dip to below 1220p in the first seconds of trading would have taken a considerable amount of Long positions out without a shadow of a doubt ---- took one of mine out & Finspreads ( the bar stewards) would not even consider re-instating it . Beauty was tho' it triggered a fresh Long order for me at around the same level --- so no real harm done actually other than my raised blood pressure on the phone to some idiot at Finspreads ( w**k**s ) . Really didn't expect the pull back to be so pronounced tho' !!!--- Maybe time to seriously think about another SB company to give my hard earned to !!!! Short Selling ( Spread Betting & Contract for Difference ) Put Options Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs) ----------------- are the 3 most popular methods of "selling " the Market. All are available thru' a good online platform such as IG Index etc. Your Broker ( if that's how you normally deal ) in some cases will facilitate " hedge " positions for you but that's far more costly and involved and is generally only available on larger traded positions . I personally have never "hedged / shorted" using a private Brokerage . GL whatever you decide ----

Hope that clears up any lingering doubts on my present AHT position !!-- Altho' i really should have sold out again on that morning intra-day double top around the 1337/ 1338p level . Seeing as you mentioned Tesco the other day and going way off topic so apols for that ---- i closed my Short on it yesterday at just over 200p .( 200p was my initial target ) -- Below 200p now and could see as low as 185p supp. again but out for now .----- Ashtead is another good " trader" and i'm long again from 1296p ---- Dax has plunged this morning ---- may be time to get in Long again soon !!!. IG have suspended all forex trading , apparently --- may be back on now tho' ??? Some talk of a Fat Finger trade !!!!! -- Again , apols to all for way off topic --- GL sir ---

Difficult question that still atm !!!! ---- Trying to break the 453p ish level yet again this morning --- excellent recovery from the divi drop shows me that this has probably got more legs on it atm !!! --- Those dreaded technicals point to a test of the 460p res. level initially ---- after that comes 480p . Brokers are all over the place --- so not much help there ( is there ever ??) --- I've " parked" the dark side for a while again now --- let's hope others do the same !! GL sir ----
