Yep, did say it called for a close eye !!! --- Made a very good afternoon recovery to close back above 1300p !! -- Brokers are still very much undecided on this one atm !!! -- Anyways closed 50% at 1282p & 50% at 1292p ----- Long again from 1296p so not much leeway now (lol) -- GLA ----

I was referring to the closing price on thursday 22nd september ( 452.85p i think ) not the intraday highs ---- so today's closing price was higher ---- Daily ( standard ) macd has been negative for a few trading sessions ( since close of business on 23rd sept.) but is now almost back to zero ( -0.15 ) on todays closing sp !! --- Perhaps even back in positive territory tomorrow ---- we'll have to wait and see won't we ?? Good to see that we can have a difference of opinion and discuss it without the need to resort to words of abuse and immature responses like our resident "moron " has been doing !!! --- As shatter points out , ex-divi ( interim ) tomorrow !! ---- GL sir ---

Looking better now for that close above 450 p ---really got to be above the 452 point something from late september now tho' !!! --- Not asking for much ---just looked at the dreaded technicals quickly and i'm happy with what i see atm. Hopefully the boards new resident moron will be filtered by us all and it'll go away very soon ---- or change it's outlook to others here . Morning, buddy ----- Well, i for one was disappointed considering the Ftse100 was above 7100 at one point yesterday. And i, for one , would now like to see the 450p level well and truly behind us !!-- Can't and won't speak for you, , my friend --- you seem to be back to your old " nasty " self from a while back . That's disappointing to see as well !!!! ---- As for me " de-ramping " --- why on god's earth would i do that , bud, if i'm Long this stock ??? " What a difference a day makes " ---- was a good song way back when but not good for the likes of Aviva .Just goes to show how subjective technical indicators can be & usually are . Tumbling markets do no favours tho' , i'm afraid , to already " fragile " share recoveries !!! -- No excuses from me --- if the 440/41p had held i'd have been correct --- it hasn't held atm. and so taskmaster's lower levels may be seen . We do have recent support tho' now around the 430p marker so let's see it that holds !!! If the Ftse100 can hold above 6800 then everything has a chance !! -- GLA ----- keep the faith .

Post a note of caution !!! --- Unfortunately i'm resisting the urge to go Short on this one just lately , not like me at all , and so i've been caught with this drop as well !! It's trying hard to regain 1200p , i see ---- needs to do it by the close today really !! Hmmm --- not an indicator i have regularly taken too much notice of in the past but i can see the logic / relevance behind it !!! --- GL -----

Yes , some truth in what you say ---- but , personally, i don't see it as quite that negative !!! --- It can afford to consolidate to around 440/441p and still be in the current uptrend . Not actually overbought on the standard rsi , standing at around 67 atm . but starting to turn down tho' , as is the fast stochs. ---- No neg. divergence quite yet on macd but very close & top bollinger stands up at around 455p . 200 dma comes in around 437p & PA is well above that as well as the 12 & 26 dma's.---- So i don't see it as all that bad atm except for those low volumes that we both agree on ----- it probably will consolidate as we both suspect but as long as it holds onto that 440p level , then the games still on as i see it atm . !!! -- It'll probably drop like a stone on monday now (lol) ---- if it does you have my full attention !!!. A two day close above 450p with a good recovery today from the lows --- I have to agree with taskmaster tho' i'm afraid on the volumes ---- Pity this happened going into the week-end but hey-ho it's got a good chance now !!. Indicies are all a bit stretched atm as well --- i'm Short the Dax after a very good run up this week . I see short term weakness only tho' atm & Ftse100 holding above 6900 into the close was encouraging. Exane reiterating 400p again , i see ( t***p**s lol) --- GLA -----

Yep, a fair & honest summary i would say !!!--- Pity Vig has chosen not to return --- indeed my hope is that he IS able to return when and if he desires and that no ill has become of him !!! --- Yes , silly isn't it --- people can say almost anything they like on the tele. etc these days ,but that " C*** " word is still very much taboo for some reason ----- strange (lol) !!!!. Of caution on the SP ----- a good recent recovery from below 1200p but has still failed to make a higher high , as a close above 1239/40p is required to achieve that atm. ---- So , this could just be another downward phase still atm ---- with any further drop ( if it comes ) needing to close above 1182p to give a higher low --- Just saying !!!--- JMVHO ---- GLA -----
