I have puked in cars, buses, coaches, boats, ferries, catamarans, airplanes

travelling for a few hours is bad enough but doing it for 14 days....bleaurgh no thanks!!!

only thing I have not puked on was a train ( came close in eurotunnel but that turned out to be the coach suspension exaggerating every movement, got of coach and was just fine on the train itself)

oh and a hot air balloon - smoothest form of transport I've ever been on.

pretty much what I had been thinking.
This is a large major company. It has continued with similar production and income to previous years even with all the obvious problems in the world.

They have continuously wanted to pay a dividend - but could not due to sanctions ( not sanctions on Poly itself but issues getting they payments to the banks ). They have been looking at various options to try and resolve this. Obviously they do not wish to do these major changes but the longer the war goes on the more likely changes need to happen.

Even if war was to end tomorrow - there is possibility of sanctions to continue for many years still affecting dividend payments.

So in my mind keeping the company as a whole and redomicile could be a good solution. Once done dividend payments could restart which would in turn boost share price. Keeping all reporting ongoing as usual per LSE guidelines means that if/when all sanctions lifted they could relatively easily come back to LSE main listing.

In my mind this has been all about getting the dividends back on track. With dividends coming back in the majors will flood back in to get it in the pension pots. Poly will want to ensure their shares can remain inside ISA and SIPP. I had no doubt in my mind and have held strong over last few days panicking and no intention to sell within 5 years and quite frankly at these dividends yields this is really a 'forever' hold.

and £500 from 2024 onwards

regardless if you are getting dividends with a yield of 20%-30% paying tax on it is hardly a major problem

Gap up this morning - in majority of cases people sell and take profits and is likely to go down and fill that gap - before the bigger rises come over the next week(s)
