Bearing in mind the cost price is £60, if they can manage to sell just 50k units in the UK and 50k in the USA, then that's a turnover of approx. 6 Million.
I would thought that that would be a conservative number with Christmas looming.
Costs of the current development have already been largely absorbed, so they are left with marketing , distribution and manufacturing costs.
There is a very good margin to be had with this product once its out in the market place.
It appears that there has only been a soft launch so far, and if you bear in mind that there have been 450 million PlayStation's sold in the world, then it becomes clear to see that just a small fraction of these numbers will provide Immotion with a huge in home market place.
What they need to do, is get the Dinosaur and wildlife options added to the offering asap and to start marketing the product with vigour.
Its a great product, packaged fantastically (akin to IPhone packaging IMO), and very polished.
The potential is huge and the next three months will either show it to be a non seller, or on the other extreme one of the must have Christmas gifts.
If its the latter, the fortunes of this company will turn around very quickly.
