Listen to Leejohn, if you are a PI hang onto your shares, traders do not keep buying like this for fun, we are talking millions of shares now. Someone or some ones are filling their bootsi in anticipation of a decent rise. GLA

Sequence of small sells starting at 15.08???.

MM`s drop the bid and PI`s immediately start wetting themselves and think something must be wrong!!, this is then followed by an inevitable string of sells as more people get spooked, but know one stops to question why. Has the outlook for the company suddenly changed?, no!!. Has a world class mineral deposit suddenly vanished
?, no. Is there likely to be no one willing to fund such a massive money making venture?, highly unlikely, there are tens of billions of dollars looking for a long term guaranteed return. Either the result of the DFS is already baked in and the price is well overdone and needs to find a new lower level, or this is a classic ploy to get the price down, buy back in and make an extra 10 plus % in a day or two. Seen it dozens of times. Stop selling and the price stops falling. GLA.

I have been following Amerisur, reading the BB and have bought and sold a few shares in it on and off for several years, I never thought I would see the share price in single figures, the last time it was this low was the first week in December 2009!!!!. This should be trading somewhere between 25p minimum to at least 37p, seeing it fall to 9.5p is almost unbelievable. The potential here is huge and I just hope that after much travailing it can at last be fully realised. I will most certainly be buying back in once this seemingly never ending decline finally reverses, which it would seem could be just about to happen. Good luck to all who are currently invested.

ORT. I am also hoping that this is just pure speculation and an interesting debate and that fortune really does favour the brave or rather LTHs. I am still of a glass half full mentality and that there will be some price soaring news, but in the real world of corporate business which is a dog eat dog world, who knows. I would not be surprised by anything anymore. GLA

Discussion taking place on Telegram, re has the recent pattern of trading been indicative of a potential takeover. It does make me wonder, huge amount of selling over months at small losses gradually taking the price down. Our year high is now only 0.75p. Big miners with longer term outlooks are looking for new resources with minimal outlay and we have several ready to go in a few months. Just imagine what a multi billion pound company could do in a few months!!!. thoughts and opinions anyone.

Hi Hedged, I do not think so, the price paid seems to fit with todays offer price at the time, especially given the size of the purchases, but you may well be right. Never know really, but I hope they are todays

Hi supergar. We do not know at what price they were original bought at, could have still made shed loads??. Could be someone who is minted deliberately worrying the PI`S into selling. Whats the loss of few grand if you are sitting on millions, who knows. AIM, say no more.

Those mills of shares were taken off someone for just 0.47. Am inclined to agree with happy place, someone accumulating a large holding.

Is considerably quieter since the Telegraph forum was formed, quite sad, there were some insightful and oft amusing posters on here. I spent a few days on Telegraph, but just too many postings and sadly some comments that were totally unacceptable. We do like the sound of our own voices at times, me included. Money/ making it and loosing it often seems to bring out the worst in human nature. This BB has become a haven of peace and civility. GLA
