I trust that fellow investors were able to switch off for a while and enjoy the Christmas festivities?. This may seem a daft question, but what is the % chance of FLYBE going it alone, genuine question, given my recent complete inability to invest in the right companys. Happy Christmas fellow investors. Just a thought. We are not living under a sheet of plastic, on a rubbish dump, or in a war zone, we have so much to be grateful for. Most of us will have used money we do not immediately need and no one forced us to invest. We have so much already, if we get to be "well off" or even " comfortable", I trust we will use our gains wisely. Have a good couple of days folks and focus on what really matters. God bless. Nigel.

Good morning folks. The reality is, we are very much in the dark, left wondering just what is going on and of course some are naturally very anxious, I am a little concerned. I guess there are times when we just have to trust that someone with AP`s experience in this business knows exactly what he is doing. This is someone with decades in this particular field, who has extensive knowledge of methods of financing companys and risk management. Second guessing is interesting but will not help us and will undoubtedly cause much raised blood pressure, lets wait for the explanation and then we will either have a merry or not so merry Christmas and a happy or not so happy new year. GLA I really really hope its positive news.

Dear Herby. I am working class and live in South Birmingham. I love going to the Southern Med for my hols and have not yet met a local who wanted the EURO. It was forced on them by politicians. I believe in democracy not Autocracy. I believe in electing leaders not appointing them. There is absolutely no reason why a reasonable trading agreement cannot be set up with the EU. They know their experiment is failing and that many ordinary people are sick of it. Wake up, the only real beneficiaries are the rich and powerful. they have doubled their wealth in 10 years whist tens of millions of EU citizens have seen their standard of living massacred. I am like you, just hoping the elite do not trigger the next recession before we have the chance to make a few bob with VAST. And Sandy, Like you really really hope the diamonds come good and are big and sparkly. I would even buy Herby a few beers. GLA

Have said it before will say it again. Brexit is a smokescreen, everyone has focussed on this and ignored the real crisis brewing. 114 Italian banks are effectively insolvent and Italy is broke. The French economy is a disaster and no one can reform it. Deutsche Banks exposure to the derivatives market is 46 trillion Euros.!!!!!! Don't believe me, check for yourselves, if this goes badly it could bring down the world economy mot just Europes. Portugal is impoverished, Half of Greek households have no one in work. There are former Eastern European countries in financial crisis. The ECB continues to produce billions of Euros from thin air and what does history teach us about the consequences of money printing, it never ends well. Why would anyone want to stay joined at the hip to this!!. I do not believe that economic Armageddon will result from us Leaving the EU, not that we will, Democracy as they say is an illusion, the elite give us just enough to prevent a French style revolution. The World is bigger than Europe and big business always finds a way. Just remember, Politicians demonize Russia yet are happy rely on their natural gas, politicians can never be trusted, they are divisive, hate each other in public, drink champagne and shorts together in private. Hi rm125x. My point, which was badly made is that politicians and the media cannot be trusted. They exaggerate, lie, deceive, or tell the truth, whichever is beneficial to them and suits their agenda at the time. I am not overly concerned about a no deal. Remember the world will not stop because blighty leaves a club of power crazed federalists, trade goes on, business as usual goes on. Holiday companys are still selling European holidays at reasonable prices, and that affects millions of us. GLA.

The pound has gone from a high of 1.41 to 1.10 to the Euro in a few years that's a depreciation of 22%, thats been an incredible boost to our exports, holidays are more expensive though which is what people seem to care about. So why are people worrying about tariffs?? Business always gets around politics. We are demonizing Russia and threatening sanctions, but Russia supplies West and Eastern Europe, including Britain with natural gas and oil. Big business calls the shots. VW, BMW, MERCEDES etc etc are not going to let politics spoil their bottom line.

On the 6th Nov HSBC gave it a buy signal and a price target of 20p. Now we are told that 1 month later, having done an in depth analysis of the company it is only 17p??.

The EU are the worlds biggest hypocrites. People have v short memories. Following the Fukoshima scare Germany decommissioned its nuclear power plants and decided to built what???. 12 new Coal fired power stations. Nigel Farage blew the whistle on a question time debate. Never made the pro EU pro climate change EU funded BBC news. Condem the poor to a life of poverty but keep them making our cheap clothes. Meanwhile hundreds of sudo scientists and politicians travel first class or in private jets stay in 5 star hotels for a week and then dictate how the rest of the world should live. Ever seen the CO2 generators we use in football sized greenhouses to get bigger fruit and veg. More CO2, bigger greens. The Romans had vineyards in Northern England 1700 years ago. It was warmer back then.

It should have bottomed now. The 14.40 bid was the floor (I hope). Once again the MM`s have got the price just where they want it and the PI`s have, as usual, been played like a fiddle. If I had a grand for the number of times I have seen this happen, I could by FLYBE myself. No doubt there will be a magical uptick from here.

The BB is eerily quiet this morning, no doubt we are all in a state of shock at the drop in the share price. Was not expecting to see bid of 12 again
