I am no expert on the airline industry, but given that air travel is expected to continue to steadily grow, (barring a major economic decline), especially with traffic from emerging economies, doesn`t that make the take off and landing slots even more valuable, given the potential long term returns? There will no doubt be considerable pressure to keep this share price low, as everyone wants a bargain especially when talking tens of millions of pounds. GLA

Hi Bruce. Not to small, its the smaller stocks with low MCAPS that have the biggest price fluctuations, e.g. GCM up 21% again today, FLYBE bounced from 9 - 23p in 5 days. That's a 150% profit !!. Try getting that on the FTSE100. Anyway GL.

Hi brown-dog. You are correct, there are often conspiracies and disinformation, but in this case unless you are desperate for the cash, why not allow the price to rise a little and get a bit more?. Keeping the price at a particular level is a well known ploy, especially if MM`S are aware that good news may be just around the corner and someone is waiting to buy shed loads. Traders may not work in isolation, but work together for mutual benefit, we have all seen examples of price suppression over the years. Not saying this definitely is, but does seem to have the hallmarks. Cheers and GLA

Consistent selling into any rise is occurring, regular sells at 19.54. someone wants to keep this down.

You should see the use of number codes on AMER, its unbelievable, seems like a secret world known only to select traders who inform each other of when to buy, sell hold, or may be to say I am off to the loo, need a cuppa, having a bacon sarni, am off to do the dishes etc etc. There does on occasion appear to be a response following a number, oft times nothing, who knows.

Laidback. The company is a going concern, it is still making money, just not as much as the market expected. The dramatic drop in share price is just what always happens, massive fall, traders buy in, make 100% in no time. You see it every time a profit warning is issued, the market always over reacts and PI`s as usual get hammered.

Interesting, a sudden last minute spike, followed by a couple of sells and back down again?? And all these codes, 1,8,20,21,25,26,41,79, makes ones head spin. I think we should have a whip round and ask Tom Hanks if he could hunt down the "Day Traders Mysterious Book of Secret and Confusing Codes". If we could then crack the codes we could all buy and sell at just the right time and in 10 years time be the new Warren Buffets. GLA, we really need it the way this share is being played

I seem to recall that one of the very large banks had been found to be laundering money on quite a large scale and for some years. Can we trust such financial institutions to give us advice when they are only concerned with lining their own pockets, I think not. We used to say "you can bank on it" not any more.

Hi Bertie. I know exactly what you mean. I got totally clobbered recently, lost shedloads, Directors still sitting pretty though. Have learned through bitter experience that there are times when one needs to keep ones nerve, I could have been a wealthy bloke with a bit of patience but got spooked too many times by MM`s. This just seems another such case and I do not like to see hard earned cash going to the already wealthy, nice to see some go to the little person for a change. All the best and GL.

Looks like PI`s keep getting the eebie jeebies, selling small amounts that will nibble at the share price. This was trading at 41p on the 24th Sept. 7 weeks later it is at less than a quarter of that, a totally unjustified amount and a classic over cooked fall. Its still 50% down, yet is a going concern despite the profit warnings. People panic so easily and just give their shares to the MM`s, we see it over and over again. Fear is a MM`s most useful weapon, this company is not going to be run into the ground as some have alluded to, it is making money, just not as much as the market expected and Flybe would like. Hold onto your shares. AIMHO. GLA.

I was just about to say, we have had codes1 and 5 and now we have a "6". Given the unbridled greed of some of those who play the markets, I cannot exclude myself, but I would just love to get back to evens, they will pull any trick to scare or disinform PI`s to get them to sell, if they are sure of making a bob or two thousand. Money without question reveals human nature better than just about anything else and it aint pretty. GLA.

It is just pausing for breath, having had two very good days when compared to its recent history. The continued rise will I feel, be steady with the odd spike due to good news. Having seen the decline over several years I am delighted to see it heading in the right direction. Minimum in next 12 months should be 25p to upper end 37p. AIMHO. LTH`s will be rewarded for their patience. GLA

Well under where it should be. It should be at a minimum of 25p now and a max of 37p. And that was before this latest deal. IMHO

You buy £800,000 of shares at 4.15pm on Thursday and sell them 24 hours later for around £960,000 not a bad days work eh

That's 450k shares that were bought showing as sells. A nice bit of early Christmas shopping
