I really do find it hard to believe that following a public announcement in The Capital, watched and reported on by the media and I would assume by the Government officials who have decision making authority, that Powerchina believes it now has to wait months to know if it can go ahead with the project or not. You just do not spend months in negotiations with a prospective partner, with lawyers and no doubt in negotiations with Gov officials, only to find that you cannot go ahead with your multi billion dollar, economy boosting, quality of life enhancing, job creating project. To go public only to find you made a huge mistake is unthinkable and would be humiliating. ARE THERE REALLY INVESTORS ON HERE WHO THINK IT WILL BE 6 MONTHS PLUS BEFORE A DECISION IS REACHED???. Hi livinhope. Price moments like this are quite normal on aim, I have seen it hundreds of times. The spike at 69p was way overdone, remember this was at 22/23p on the 10th Jan and trebled by its high on the 17th. It is still nearly double the price on the 30th Nov. MM`S games cause much confusion and create unreal expectation. It will rise again, low to mid 40`s would be v good and would be a fair price at the moment. GLA

I have been trying on and off and cannot access it. I echo Cleversheeps comments. I ran a company for over 5 years, you do not let a Domain name expire and if anyone had access probs, you get it sorted pronto!!

I will certainly be on the phone first thing tomorrow. This should just not happen, you have reminders that your Domain name is due to expire. Its an inexpensive item but v v important. Not known this happen before and am slightly concerned. Especially following such a massive amount of PR and huge spike in the share price price

I have now tried numerous ways of trying to find the website, it is like the company does not exist!!!. I just hope they are working on an updated site, but even so there should be a message to say they are actually working on it

There is no mention of this JV on Power Chinas website, last news item was 25 Dec 18. This is a little odd. Surely they would have put something on their site

Never known a company of this size forget to renew their Domain name, you get plenty of warnings that its due to expire, someone will be in trouble

I have seldom read a more encouraging RNS. In a nut shell, the power station will be built. The public signing ceremony has taken place after months of negotiations, you just do not do this unless there are no loose ends. Reputation and credibility are not something a company such as Power China would endanger. They have a proven history of success in Bangladesh and that is worth shed loads.
