Depends. I had a portfolio of four stocks which out did one of 10 - 12. If you're a smaller investor you can get away with 5 or 6 stocks, not so easy if you have millions or billions to manage.

Or you could have totally mis timed it and lost more than you would have gained.

Boring is what usually wins the day. I'd rather take a percent or two a day rather than up 10% one day down 15% the next etc.

Yes it would be nice for it to start moving up again, as I am already about 10% down on my top up a couple of days ago lol

I don't pay much attention to stuff on this board apart from the good posts around results and mining updates, but whoever this greenfool is I'd wish he'd disappear.

Some shares had real trouble getting quotes this morning first thing. Itm aml and CCL for me.

If they wanted to fish for stop losses they wouldn't be going back to prices they've already had this morning (which would have already have triggered the stops) they'd just drop it 10% and be done with it.

Motley Fool also put me onto ggp at the turn of the year so cannot complain. Had a lot of good trades off their site if you time them right but also some losers. Don't mind contradictions they are individuals writing not a company so no different than being on a forum or anywhere else. some will give differing opinions.

Anyone else having problems buying ggp shares?

I bought a bit in my ISA and bought a new position in my LISA. Didn't really care about what price as in a year will be irrelevant anyway.

Since they're in the future perhaps they can tell us what GGP will open and close at tomorrow so I know the best time to buy more ;) :D

Depends on how bad the markets go. looking like nothing is going to stop them going down for a while now. Hopefully though well into the mid teens.

I did a quick trade this morning in the first hour and made some of my 'losses' back. Still holding a core holding but for a couple of days I think it'll drift about and will add more in a few days time.
