Well after having a rough month with some shares its nice to see GGP making a move these past two days and taking my profit back in the right direction.

When everything settles down most shares will soar! Though this has potential to soar a bit further than others. Liking what AML are doing and who they are bringing in.

Not just that but it is the end of quarter so those with funds with say 60/40 split in equities and bonds, or 70/30 etc. have to sell out of stuff to rebalance back to those splits, if they haven't done so already.

If you do go back further, nearly every day there is a prediction of what the price will be by the end of the week and what price to buy in at etc. and that aston martin is an interesting company to trade at the moment. Also happily talks about holding shorts, so I suspect they are in a short mood at the moment.

Many companies that are in a downtrend then get taken over and go up. Granted some still end up going out of business but I doubt anyone is stupid enough not to have researched all possibilities before going in - including some very smart wealthy people who joined Stroll. Things are allowed to change and turn around... being in a downtrend doesn't automatically mean it stays in one forever, especially if things have changed ownership wise.

If you buy now you are only paying a few percent more than they did for the placing. You wait you might get them a few percent cheaper in coming days, or not. But if you believe this is going up anyway a couple of percent difference is nothing. Not like they got the shares for something wildly different like 30p that we missed out on.

I don't know why it was such a shock to people, it was said when they took over there'd have to be more fund raising in the near future.

What would you value it though if they have to do another dilution to raise cash which has been hinted at since the new ownerss put their cash in?

Maybe that is what they are working off that eventually this will need another huge fund raise?

I use freetrade for investing and have done for a year now. They've had their problems and very limited. They should have focused on having the whole FTSE 350 before adding more and more American shares... But... I use them for buying over a grand and can find everything I need price wise elsewhere. Only thing that I'd want is more UK stocks and stop losses etc. But I will probably move next financial year to a bigger trading platform if they don't add some better features soon and make the prices a bit closer to reality but paying £10 a trade in this day and age is getting unjustifiable.

Wish people would realise they don't contradict themselves. It is a platform for different writers to give their views. No different than coming in here reading three or four different opinions and going they contradict themselves daily, even though its different writers.

Anyway, they have loads of great content and many of the share suggestions found on there have done very well for me, including greatland gold.

As one successful investor said at the end of the day it doesn't matter if you paid a couple of percent more if it is going to make a fortune.

Yes, some people only put capital to work when it breaks out of a range as that is the time when most money is normally made. The way to succeed in the stock market though seems to be to find a method that works for you and stick to it - the discipline is what works rather than one out of 2,000 different methods being the best. Of course you need to find good companies to start with...
