True but people also drive flashy cars which are worth far more than the real value. People do lots of things in life that are far more than the value but people just need things to get through life. If that means splashing out their money on things so be it. Not hurting anyone if you can't see the value/point in it.

Exactly. There are some massive companies on AIM mainly to do with regulations/red tape. ASOS, Boohoo, codemasters, Fevertree, jet2 among others. All these would kick us out of the 250 if we went into it and then they decided to... but not every company wants to move to FTSE standards etc.

Well I have seen a couple of write ups s+(may even have been brokers or the like) suggesting around 3.5 - 3.75m oz from memory. I remember others throwing about 15m or more. It is a tough one to know what people will do but as it has been stated it won't be all of Havieron and the number is always lower to start with. Guess it depends what your figure was and understanding of the process whether you sell disappointed or buy more at that point.

The uproar wasn't necessarily about someone stating they had sold but a few people took issue with the person because they had been talking of 50p in the not distant future due to what they had heard from people in Australia (I think that is an accurate summary) and then announced a sale today so perhaps some thought they had tried to pump the price up and then bail?

Good news this morning for Ceres power. Things are looking up for the company. Made me in percentage terms, not in money terms, the most of any shares - if only I'd put more/kept more in hey.

Exactly. No one on here has moved the share price one inch it is NCM reporting amazing finds at the site and the prospect of other such finds. Satellite images, people's 'contacts', etc. have not made the price move 1000s of % in a year (though potentially useful to keep spirits up in the wait between news. They may also help some people researching whether to buy.). I suspect 99% of GGP holders haven't read this board before investing though and have made the same amount...

I don't see the need to announce a sale but whatever. However those suggesting the poster was bigging up a share then sold... So what... He has sold at a couple of percentage points more than when he posted. Not like they have caused the share price to move significant amounts on a con then sold leaving suckers holding worthless shares is it...

Also the amount of people who speculate at what a share price might be and when - though generally off - I don't think it affects the share price one bit and it you're making investment decisions based on a random price someone throws out on a board then you probably deserve to lose.

Companies will all be hit in different ways and some will fall worse than others but I'm guessing the past couple of weeks at least will be wiped off most companies. Also depends how currency rates change in the days following as to how certain businesses will be affected.

They are not arguing about fishing now from the sounds of it but the stupid late addition to talks that we should be following EU rules forever or face massive tariffs on goods.
